A Silent Coup Sitting on a “Gravy Train”

Can ” King” Obama still harm America?

obama shredsusTrump won the election and America should have moved on.

Now it seems America is fighting “the Resistance”. Is this a global plan to bring Obama back for his ” third term”? Men like Obama (no moral compass) do not give up power easily. As puppets they are very attractive to those rich men who pull the strings globally. The ruling elites (first time in almost a century) no longer have a puppet in the White House.

As the LEFT plans this insurrection, it seems billionaire SOROS (with his black Antifa) is right in there funding and orchestrating this unrest

George Soros has said  “The main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States of America.” Bankers like George SOROS fight sane banking regulation. They treat the world economy as a casino. Rumor is SOROS lost a billion after Trump was elected.

Go to Wikipedia to read Soros’ own words from his books and articles that describe his tried and true system for taking down a country – or “regime change” is what he  calls it. (sic)

Step One: Form a shadow government using humanitarian aid as cover.

Step Two: Control the airwaves. Fund existing radio and TV outlets and take control over them or start your own outlets.

Step Three: Destabilize the state, weaken the government and build an anti-government kind of feeling in the country. You exploit an economic crisis or take advantage of an existing crisis — pressure from the top and the bottom. This will allow you to weaken the government and build anti-government public sentiment.

Step Four: Sow unrest.

Step Five: Provoke an election crisis. You wait for an election and during the election, you cry voter fraud.

Step Six: Take power. You stage massive demonstrations, civil disobedience, sit-ins, general strikes and you encourage activism. You promote voter fraud and tell followers what to do through your radio and television stations. Incitement and violence are conducted at this stage.

Step Seven: Outlast your opponent.

How far along are we down this slippery path?

We are already at Step six.

In choosing Trump as his opponent Soros erred. I don’t think Trump is going to crumble. Nor do I think the people of America will just lie down and let this ugly movement roll over us.  There are too many people of goodwill with a deep love for this country.

Under Soros’s “regime change” all nations are required to surrender their sovereignty to a one world government with no constitutional restraints.

Definition of Fascism: using force and violence on those who fail to see things your way.  Reagan warned us that if Fascism came to America, it would come from the LEFT.

It seems now that the black masked ANTIFA are everywhere but are they engaged in peaceful protest? Sadly, no. These are paid and trained thugs, in fact they are the true fascists. We know this because we see how the ANTIFA uprisings are so carefully orchestrated. There is nothing spontaneous in the Resistance of 2017.

Median Household Income – no increase in his 8 years as President.
Labor participation rate, the lowest in 40 years, 62.6%.
Number of Americans on food stamps up 14% to 45.36 million.
Poverty rate since 2008 shot up 17% to 47 million Americans.
Home ownership has dropped 4% to 63.7%.
National debt has almost doubled from 10.62 Trillion to almost 20 Trillion!!!!
Executive Clout For the first time ever, America’s credit ration was downgraded in 2011.
A record 95 million Americans are NOT in the labor force.

Gave $150 Billion to Iran, world’s greatest sponsor of terrorism; traded 5 high ranking Taliban terrorists for one traitor; in his final hours, released $221 million in aid to Palestine; lifted American control of the Internet.

And there is more . . . .

From SEAN HANNITY (HOST): Why is Obama staying in Washington? Why did Valerie Jarrett move in?

You have this what we call shadow government, deep state of career bureaucrats, these are Obama appointees that are working hard and undermining every single solitary day everything that Trump wants to do; this is not by accident. I’ve done a lot of deep background talking to people about where all this is coming from. Where are these leaks coming from? And without fail they all discuss the shadow government, deep state government. The deep state is their term that they’re telling me. Those career bureaucrats. Those holdovers from the Obama administration. And you’ve got to understand here. They are undermining the president.” [Premiere Radio Network, The Sean Hannity Show, 3/3/2017)

And having come out and said this, Sean Hannity is himself now under attack at Fox News.

These injustices will not cease until all criminals from the past eight years are brought to justice. They asked for it setting up a shadow government, they brought their crimes into Trump’s government. Shadow government is dangerous to our Constitutional Republic. Frieze their assets, lock them up.

Not all civil workers are bad. It is true that many are loath to turn on the hand that feeds them. It will take awhile but they will wake up and realize on which side their bread is now being buttered. They will come in line.

On the other hand, Obama’s “Gravy Train” poses an enormous threat to the Trump administration. When you get in the habit of accepting something for nothing this is a criminal attitude so it is these people seek out corrupt leaders, and gravitate to criminal acts. When they cross the line they must be locked up.

The biggest challenge to the GOP lies in a bloated federal government that uses criminal clout to control spending. They do this  BY THREATENING TO SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT. If the government were shut down would it not be a good thing. This is an opportunity to sort out those who are really in need; still have a moral compass and differentiate them from the sluggards and illegals who are just along for the ride.  Trump could set a precedent, after every shutdown record how many unnecessary government workers we were able to lay off.

Sob story those poor postal workers.  Why did the Federal Government get into the postal service, UPS and FEDex do a better job.

A statistic that measures the pruning of the Federal Government, now that would be a grand statistic to keep.  There should be some reward for sifting the grain from the chaff. If this were the focus Congress and the Senate would begin to look forward to the periodic government shutdowns.

Think on this, if you give a child a toy and then try to take it away without replacing it, you are going to have a tantrum on your hands. Don’t blame Trump for all this vulgar “hissy fit protests”.  Obama and the LEFT created the unrest, both directly and indirectly. This is criminal behavior.

The Obama and SOROS ‘s play book is Saul Allinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” the codification of Lenin’s guide for one-world domination.

Here are the Alllinsky rules.

  1. Class Warfare: Divide the people into the wealthy & the poor, and all other factions. Pit one faction against the other. Easier to keep the people down, if you keep them busy fighting each other.
  2. Religion: Religion brings with it a Moral Code that is at best awkward for the crooked elite, and at worst dangerous. Elites MUST remove God from all things public.
  3. Education – take control of what people listen to or watch or read. Also take control of the Education agenda; what children are taught will define our future.
  4. Welfare – take control of all aspects of welfare – if the people are beholden to the State they will be too afraid of losing their livelihood to revolt.
  5. Gun Control – you have to remove the ability of the people to defend themselves against an oppressive government.
  6. Increase Debt – in this way you can increase taxation, poverty and fear.
  7. Poverty – Increase poverty – poor people are far easier to control
  8. Healthcare – Control Healthcare and you control the people

Does any of this sound familiar?

It is hard on those pawns on the Gravy Train  who have been persuaded to use FORCE to try to keep an unfair privilege. The good news is NOW we can see them and their intentions clearly. If they cross the mark, we can deport them, or lock them up.

We have here a failure in education, useful idiots do not understand the electoral college, the American Constitution or our system of government. The marxist/global/socialist bosses know full well that  if you give people too many freebies it is hard to draw back and take them away.  Their whole play book is immoral and the challenge of this new administration is the challenge of how to undo and drain the swamp. A government shutdown is a good place to start.  If Congress doesn’t so its job, Trump should veto bills that drip of bad spending.

You wan to see this clearly:

On the bad side: “Vulgar Liberal Protests” and “Might is Right” and a break down of “Rule of Law”. Recognize also the subversion in our institutions aimed at the disintegration of our culture. Spot also the ongoing efforts to undermine our Republic and our Constitution.

On the other side is Patriots and “Make America Great Again”

How should Patriots react? We make the Resistance irrelevant. What they seek is ATTENTION so we do not give it them. Ignore the tantrums. Ignore the Maxine Waters and Chuck Schumer.  It is a lot of (often vulgar) noise signifying nothing.

Then we demand that our elected representatives investigate and find the crimes, that they have the courage to bring corrupt politicians to justice and LOCK THEM UP.

We struggle mainly with ignorant lawmakers, judges and low information voters.

This new President has a firm grip on power AND HE WILL DRAIN THE SWAMP whatever the resistance.

It is time for Trump to end the corrupt relationship between the IDLE rich and the IDLE poor and put America and the world back to work.

Song at one of the Trump Rallies

Do you hear the people sing?

Singing a song of angry men?

It is the music of a people

Who will not be slaves again!

When the beating of your heart

Echoes the beating of the drums

There is a life about to start

When tomorrow comes!

Understanding the Unrest in America

(Updated- Thanksgiving)

.of America. Hillary asks “what happened” – well Trump stood up to defend the forgotten men of America.

He stands for traditional values, faith, family and one nation under God. Trump enemies and the enemies of America are godless.

(2017) America is under assault from the global elites. They spread their political lies and seek a political coup, and you are being fooled if you get taken in.  It is all about elite privilege and it comes straight out of the dirty swamp.

Examine these mind blowing facts.and then make your choice

draintheswampA few of us knew that Trump was going to be the next President; and how did we know this? We read his books and studied his record and realized that when Trump decides something, that is the way it is going to be. America rejected Global, Sharia Law and American Marxism when we elected Trump. America also rejected the progressive mantra that “might is right” in favor of “rule of law” and “balance of power”. We assumed the responsibility to learn our heritage. Not all have taken the time.

Pretending to be a Republican but working for the other side is traitor John McCain, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan. In fighting Judge Roy Moore, Mitch climbed on a slippery slide to hell. Go to Opensecrets.org to see how much bribe money McConnell and Ryan scored during the Obama years. Both swamp dwellers.

Wherever McCain goes trouble also ensues. He was in Ukraine before the trouble there, whenever he goes to Syria observe the conflict escalating. Now he has sunk the Repeal and Replace of ObamaCare.  And did you know that he has a foundation in full blown support of George Soros, open borders and that he fully supports other progressive agenda. McCain may be dying, but while he does he can still cause a lot of damage to the Patriot cause and America. McCain sanctimoniously is busy burying traditional Judea-Christian Western values.

Clear evidence that “the Resistance” is being orchestrated by Obama and funded by SOROS – sick. This is not just an attack on Trump but also clearly a direct attack on our American form of government, our culture and our heritage. This swamp WILL be drained.

Wanted or not by the shady & the corrupt, Donald Trump is our President and he is going to serve out eight years, as the 45th President of America.

So why all the noisy upset?

One: Swamp-dwellers
There were/are a lot of people who now stand to lose an unfair advantage and unfair privilege.

  • Sanctuary Cities
  • Federal Money given to EPA used for political advantage or protecting the silly “smelt in California” while central California tasked with feeding the nation, turns into a dust bowl. Gallons of water dumped into the sea during a drought.
  • Illegal immigrants and Refugees living off the public dole when some of our children are starving and our veterans are being neglected
  • Those gaming the legislative process
  • Teachers protected by seniority and not judged on their performance.
  • Government workers insisting on high wages and demanding high benefits, but failing the public they serve.
  • Those in high office like Clinton betraying her public trust, taking bribes (bribes laundered through the Clinton Foundation)
  • Those in high office like Clinton choosing to set up her records on a public server (SO THAT HER EMAILS COULD NEVER BE SOUGHT BY JUDICIAL WATCH ON A FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST)
  • Lots of little bureaucrats raking it in on the side.
  • Main Stream Media owned by Global Interests and engaged in bias and slander, actively STIRRING THE POT.  Advertisers support MSM because they have been persuaded they control our thinking. Trump, the GOP and the The election in Georgia showed Hollywood and MSM just how irrelevant they have become.
  • There is a sick culture of moral decay and decline in Hollywood. They are also fighting the digital revolution.  We can write a song, write a book and self-publish. Hollywood relies on a rigged system government to enforce “intellectual rights”
  • Big Pharma making a killing from Government patents and regulations that protect their unfair monopoly – why can’t we buy our drugs in Canada or Mexico? Why can’t HMOs compete across state lines? Why all this government protection?
  • Farmers getting subsidies long out of date. Monsanto (GMO) permitted to hide what they are doing to poison our food.
  • Investors like George SOROS using arcane investing rules to  profit from an economic decline. (Then they use their new found wealth and power to attack our leader and our constitution)
  • People on welfare now having to learn a trade and begin to support self and family and the nation.
  • Abortion clinics relying on public funding. I am in favor of women’s choice but there is something wrong with a taxpayer being forced to fund abortions.
  • “Bad Hombres” pushing drugs into America.  The states where most drugs go are where we find the loudest protests (sad) .
  • We begin to understand the opposition to Trump better when we realize just how much money the elites in the media and in Hollywood  stand to lose when Trump exposes their corruption, and their part in it.
  • We begin to understand the opposition to Trump much, much better when we realize just how much money is paid in bribes by corrupt corporations to corrupt politicians. These two is just the tip of the iceberg) bribery (see www.opensecrets.org)
  • And finally there are the neocons trying to stir up a war with Russia.  Clear evidence that Trump is being demonized, but we suspect so is Putin.  McCain and Lindsay Graham (both generously funded by Soros) were recently in the Ukraine and what were they doing there?
  • Then there is the United Nations. with envious third world nations with their greedy hands outstretched and we can help them, but not by giving them a hand-out. There is no reason that America is rich and Africa is poor, except for our form of government, and our creative innovation. Obama had perfected the art of using the idle poor to give to the idle rich.  Luckily Trump sees through this, and has ended this stealing from the taxpayers of America.

So many crooked, unhappy people in the world. No wonder they are terrified of Trump, Trump who is able to expose their nasty secrets with a single tweet!

Two: American Marxism
The unrest (by observation) is not spontaneous. We will never win in America if we allow other interests to subvert & divide us.

Definition of black propaganda – with lies and innuendo seeking to falsify perception, or to create a false reality to justify a criminal act.

We know that this uprising is orchestrated because the demonstrators follow the same style book in every city, not just in America, proving a global strategy.

pullharderThe organized protesters shout obscenities, start fires, destroy property., these are tactics employed in times past by Stalin and Lenin.  Sadly, Marxists have been subverting our educational institutions and our youth during the terms of the last four presidents, all who favored the NWO.  It takes but a generation to steal a nation. This cries out for a full Congressional Investigation.

This Marxist influence has been blamed on Russia but that is contrary to the fact that Putin is now anti- communism and seems to genuinely believe that Communism doesn’t work. Putin/Russia has nothing to gain by subverting America. On the other hand the oligarchies of the NWO who want to rule the world, have seen an opportunity in socialism.  (Saul Allinsky)

It is an axiom of political warfare that it is not wise to assassinate popular opponents except as a last resort. Better to invalidate them in the public mind. A part of this war tactic is to pick a popular target and demonize him, blaming him for the violence.  Is this not what we are seeing with Trump? They picked the wrong man, I don’t think Trump is going to crumble.

“If you want to understand what is going on in America today, just think of the Branch Davidians. If the elites can sufficiently demonize Donald Trump and his supporters as racists or something equally repugnant, then violence against him personally or against his supporters – perhaps even violence against the system itself – will be viewed as justified.”  Need to Know News

Three: The Muslim Brotherhood
Our democratic process was designed to resolve BIG ideological differences. It has kept us away from civil war. It would have done so again were we not subverted and divided by evil within.  There is growing circumstantial evidence of infiltration of the SOROS/Obama/Hillary and the Progressive movement by the Muslim Brotherhood – an orchestrated world movement to change our culture and bring the western world to its knees, under Sharia Law.  This also cries out for Congressional investigation.

In part it is payback time for the wars in the middle East brought on by the neocons WHO ARE NOT AMERICA. We are complicit only in that we allowed it to happen.

Note: America is now at #4 on this chart while England at #7.

Note: America is now at #4 on this chart while England is at #7.

Those who love Donald Trump see that . . .

  • He has observed that America is in trouble, and he has decided that he is the one to make America Great Again.
  • He has the unique ability to attract honorable and able men to his side. None can challenge the production records of Pence or Ben Carson or their spiritual integrity. That they love him speaks well for Donald Trump.
  • He wants to see us safe. He wants to bring back order to America.
  • He is transparent, and tells it like it is. This is likable.
  • He understands finance; and this is something we badly need, it has become beyond vital to fix the failing economy before the next economic bubble pops (derivatives)
  • His plan to lower taxes on the rich is coming under attack, yet what he proposes is fair and a gradient approach to handle income inequality
  • What his enemies don’t realize is that he only hits back when attacked, yet when he retaliates the counter-attack is brilliant and brutal. This president fights fire with fire.,

We all know that electing  an outsider to be President is a big step. One thing to consider though, “Constitutional  Republicanism” is so far superior to “Progressive Democracy” with its support of  “coercive government” that there is really no choice. The Left fears that Trump would be a HItler, this is the pot calling the shiny kettle black. Hitler will never come to America while we keep our constitution.

Let me clarify; In a Republic, government rules only with consent of the governed. In a global or progressive administration “Might is Right” and autocratic rule, big brother, and bullying are all fully acceptable.

This “Might is Right” is the corrupt thinking the founders left behind when America first became a nation. And that folks is what was at stake in 2016.

We were fast losing “Consent of the Governed”

We could have lost America.

Has the Media lost its Way?

Once upon a time the Press was seen as the Fourth Estate (objectivity)

Am I unique in that I expect the press to inform me honestly? Am I unique in that I expect the press to be champions of the first amendment?

Their propitiation to the SOROS/OBAMA/CLINTON camp reminds me of a rotten apple coated in treacle, distasteful.

If that were all but it is not, but now it is getting even worse. COERCION HAS ENTERED IN. Have we just survived a SOROS orchestrated coup? Lots of evidence that the Inauguration protests were orchestrated. Hello, riots on the border, and all around the world? That the tentacles of evil penetrate so far and so deep is of concern.

What has also concerned voters (but not the Press) is that if we don’t agree with the LIBERAL mindset, we can lose a job, be roughed up, (especially on college campuses) or even dead. Strong circumstantial evidence that alt-right investigative journalist & author, Roger Stone was poisoned. Celebs thinking of performing at Trump’s Inauguration are also getting death threats. Far too many death threats against our new President & VP. This is a president elected by the people.

Is this the old free America?

And saddest of all is that the PRESS IS FAILING TO CALL THEM OUT ON THIS.
And sadder even, Justice (CIA, FBI, DOJ) has been aboard, forwarding false political narratives.  What Americans found out in 2016 is that there was a  deliberate effort to divide. What Trump taught us is that we are all Americans. The MSM reporters need to wake up and see that the people have won America’s third crisis and that the Progressive Age is done.

Hello fellow Americans, we have far more in common one with another, than we are different. This is the message the Press should put out.  Then the Press should speak out LOUD & CLEAR to the rich and powerful telling them that it is a new age in America and the world, and henceforth, there will be no government without the consent of the people.

If MSM wants to survive they should be getting all reporters to study the American Constitution.

For as the people discover Trump’s positive attributes, the Press slander is boomeranging back on them.

The LEFT has created a new moral code; they think if you hold a different viewpoint you are bad. This is un-american.

Before you were good if you worked hard, went to Church, raised a good family and got ahead. NO more. Now you are seen as bad  if you stand for something that challenges the status quo and/or the corrupt elites. The LEFT is trying to thrust a new moral code on America and no performer and no reporter and no student dare like or help the outsider. Like the kings of old “Might is Right.” and oppression has entered in.

This is America folks. We can agree to freely disagree, or dare we?

It is called MONOPOLY. Jimmy Carter recently said that we are ruled by global oligarchies and now the press is also owned.

““In March, 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interest, and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States and sufficient number of them to control generally the policy of the daily press….They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. “An agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper to properly supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness, militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and international nature considered vital to the interests of the purchasers.”- Oscar Callaway, U.S. Congressman, 1917

We still have a relatively free Social Media but for how long? King Obama gave away USA control of the Internet? I think Social Media has evolved too far for it to become monopolized by the global elite.

About Bad Banking
The seeds for the crash of 2008 were sown at the end of Bill Clinton’s watch and this was a turning point. An inept president, corrupt banks a corrupt narrative and corrupt authorities. Hillary denies this. What cannot be denied is that she is in bed with the big banks.

The country is still reeling from the consequences of the 2008 banking crisis when the American taxpayer money was used to not only bail out inept and inefficient and corrupt American banks & investment houses, but also insult to injury, the American taxpayer even paid out the foreign, European banks. Did you know about this illegal stealing, American taxpayer? The news has been strangely silent.  The consequences are yet to hit us in inflation.

Politics should be about electing good leaders to represent us. Now a corrupt press works with bad political consultant’s to try to “smear” the candidates rather than to present an honest track record and/or ability.

Ben Carson admits politics is a dirty game, and that Trump, himself, is guilty. However, when Trump goes for an opponent, he has the ability to ferret out a genuine (often personal) weakness.  Trump will ONLY attack after he himself is first attacked; there is some honor there. Nor does he lie; he does not slide down into the rotten treacle of black propaganda.

Definition of black propaganda – with lies and innuendo seeking to destroy another’s reputation.  Dr Ben has faulty memory, Trump is anti-women, Trump is racialist, Trump is anti-Muslim, these slurs are just not true; but being made true by being repeated over and over in an unworthy press-political attack.

Crooked people are drawn to a crooked leader and it seems the press is happy to go along.

The Clinton Cabal Campaign was about Power, not about improving conditions for ALL THE PEOPLE.  The Obama years was about using the idle poor to enrich the idle rich. That stops right now. No more benefits for the idle poor benefiting the idle rich as they continue to steal from the hardworking man in the middle. This is what the press should be investigating and reporting on. The press should be investigating and pulling this scam apart. If all the people in the one percent were truly productive it would be a great world. But that is not the way it is. More than half have earned their wealth by corruption and keep their wealth by corruption; i.e. by political favor. That stops with a Trump presidency.

It is good to differentiate between the idle rich and the productive rich. The productive rich make a true contribution to the greater good. The idle rich prey on the people. Into what class idle or productive, can we place Hillary?  She (with poor production record) fits the classic definition of “idle rich” Is she a freeloader? She left the White House poor (stealing the furniture) but is now worth 31.3 million dollars.

The connection between Obama, Hillary and Saul Alinsky should also be noted:  (Hillary’s thesis at University was done on the work of Saul Alinsky) .

Alinsky’s radical rules are a simplification of Lenin’s plan for conquest of the world. In Lenin’s writings “we the people” are seen as “Useful Idiots” to be scammed, manipulated and used.

Here is Alinsky’s advice to the elite oligarchies and crooked politicians TO HELP THEM KEEP THEIR DIRTY AND UNFAIR PRIVILEGE.

  8. Healthcare – Control Healthcare and you control the people
  9. In the war of political PR, pick a target, freeze it, personalize and polarize it. This is what they succeeded in doing to Romney in 2012, and what the Hillary consultants are now trying to do to Donald Trump.

All past efforts to mis-define Trump have failed. It is a new day for Main Stream Media and I am not sure if all will survive the new presidency. They tried every which way to STOP him and failed, and now it is curving back in on them.

The Trump movement is too good, too big and too strong AND THE PEOPLE HAVE HIS BACK.

Don’t know about you, but I don’t want to be anybody’s “useful idiot”

So wise up and get your political data from trusted sources, not the cowering media or crooked Hillary or phony Obama, both in love with Alinsky.

Let us agree to turn off our TVs until the media wises up, SET UP BETTER INTERNAL QUALITY CONTROLS, and the Press goes searching for the truth.

The International Bankers–famous quotes about international bankers

How to tell a good Politician

I commend Senator Feinstein for her fine letters to her constituents.

I contrast these with the letters I get back from Kevin McCarthy which are a typical brush-off.  I did not vote for either in the last election but I shall be voting for Senator Feinstein in the future. If I now support her it is because of her quality communication and because I see from her answers that she truly understand the process. I also see from her answers that she is devoted to the greatest good.

Rumors are she is soon to retire and if true she is leaving a power position. I wish her well and thank her for her service to the nation.

May her successor demonstrate the same in depth leadership and the same integrity.

Dear Ms. Verhoeff:

Thank you for contacting my office to express your concerns with the process by which Congress drafts legislation. I appreciate hearing from you and welcome the opportunity to respond.

My staff and I carefully draft each piece of legislation that I introduce in the Senate. As you may know, Members of Congress may consult with the Office of the Legislative Counsel when writing bills. The Legislative Counsel of the Senate is appointed by the President pro tempore of the Senate and is required to remain impartial on issues of legislative policy. The office serves to provide advice on constitutional, legal, and technical problems in statues, proposed legislation, and explanatory statements accompanying proposed legislation.

I take a number of factors into consideration before drafting legislation, including the best interest of our State and the Nation as a whole, constituent input, and recommendations from my staff. You can be assured that I perform my due diligence before introducing a bill.

Again, thank you for writing. If you have further questions or comments, please contact my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-3841. Best regards.

Sincerely yours,

Dianne Feinstein

Understanding Quantitative Easing

Negative Interest, Negative Gain

(An excerpt from “Politics IOU” by Grandma Thunder The Libertarian Norman McClosky is speaking.)

debt on stilts over a rough sea

All is under control although we all know we are still hurting financially: Why is this? Well don’t we have quantitative easing?

Do you understand this magic that banks call quantitative easing? There is obfuscation in this arena but I do understand it and I do owe it to you, you the taxpayer, to try to explain it. Let me warn you though, that this is not going to be easy for there is craziness in the banking lore that we have all come to accept. So hang with me as I try to help you to sort it all out.

Banks use quantitative easing to control the supply of money in a country. In the good times, banks suck the extra money out of the economy and in the bad times they pump more money in.

Now do you understand quantitative easing?

Once upon a time a little bank used to be able to deposit money in a big Central Bank and get paid an interest in the same way that long, long ago you were able to deposit your surplus earnings in a bank and get rewarded with accumulating interest. That was before banks got things back to front and decided it was good for you to spend your money and bad for you to save, so very good for bankers when we are all in debt, right?

The truth is that it is the old traditional values of hard work, thrift, balancing the budget, and saving that lead to liberty, and it is liberty that leads to happiness. This is the foundation of the American Dream and they are trashing it.  It was sound money and simple, transparent banking that gave us our past prosperity. This is what took us up to being the foremost super power in the world.

This quantitative easing, the idea that you can spend into prosperity is actually a big lie, and it is what is taking us back down again.

So what if they are giving out negative interest in the old world; what does this have to do with you or me? Why should it have any effect on our ability to flourish and prosper? Unfortunately in a world with a global banking system, the whole world bears the cost of quantitative easing whether it happens here or over the seas and far way. With old world banks being charged negative interest rates does this affect you in any way?  You bet it does!

Here is how it works:

You are industrious and you earn more than you spend. You take your surplus and you give it to a bank for safe keeping. What should happen is that your bank should lend your money to the nation’s entrepreneurs, so that businesses can flourish; any bank that rewards production creates prosperity. Thankful entrepreneurs then pay your bank and your bank pays you. For your industry and thrift you should be rewarded; when you put your deposit in a bank; a grateful bank should be there to reward you and to service you.  That’s right they definitely shouldn’t be there to charge you. They owe you for your industry and your thrift, you don’t owe them.

Should Old World banks not also be rewarded when they put their money in the Central Bank? Actually no! The old world banks were putting the money gotten from depositors in a Central bank when they should have been lending to the producers and the innovators in their land. So by charging negative interest rates the Central banks are actually forcing the old world banks to do their job. They are making it more profitable for banks to lend to entrepreneurs. The real problem with the old world is that it has bought into socialism and we all know that socialism sucks the money out of an economy; this has been proven over and over historically.  We don’t have socialism in our world, not yet we don’t, but our country is fast heading in that direction.

What is quantitative easing? This is when banks try to solve economic problems by increasing liquidity; The problem with this is that if you increase the supply of money without increasing productivity THERE IS GOING TO BE INFLATION and everyday prices are going to go up.

What we now have is the problem of a centralized, global economy where if quantitative easing is being done anywhere in the world, the prices all over are GOING TO RISE. Inflation is about to hit on a global scale.

Let me go over this once again and explain how this works. When a central bank creates money out of nothing and turns it into debt and pumps this money into the economy, there is more bad money chasing product than is healthy, and prices are going to rise.  Pricing is set on demand and supply. Lots of money WHETHER IT IS GOOD OR BAD MONEY increases demand and the prices go up.

What of all the cheap goods coming in from the third world, does this not offset the inflation? For now this is a factor for which we can be grateful. The problem is that creating money out of nothing is unnatural and as such these central banks that operate above national lines, are not creating a stable order. Ask yourself the question how is it that tissues and toilet paper made in the old world with all that distance and all the cost of transport can be cheaper than tissues and toilet paper made right here at home? The unnatural order can only be maintained by a gargantuan military presence. Hello!  The sad news is that if you think it through you will see that eventually the force will fail, and we will have that  global economic crisis that negative doomsayers keep warning us about.

Will your bank follow the example of the Central Banks in the Old World and start charging you when you deposit money with them, is this likely?

Unfortunately it is very likely.  Most of a bank’s deposits come from an exploding public sector. What the politicians want is for them to spend not to save. So yes it is very likely that banks could follow the lead of the Old World Central Banks and begin to “charge negative interest” on savings; all approved by your happy politicians who want you to spend and not to save.

Of course our New World Banks won’t call it negative interest, it is all going to be reflected in higher bank charges.  Actually this is happening already. Banks specialize in floating fees and interest rates, another way they fool you. Go check your last bank statement and you will see the increased charges, a little here and a little there.  You will find it all in the small print that nobody ever has the time to read.

Once upon a time banks paid you to put money in their bank, and now you are paying them, a little bit her and little bit there and lots of little bits that you never have the time to notice! What I am sure you do know, though, is that they are not paying you to put money in their bank, right?

So let’s take a good, new look at the global quantitative easing as demonstrated by the old world banks:

We have a bad situation in the rotten banking sector of the old world. They have made some pretty bad loans over there and their finances have been mismanaged for over a century. And what is our unregulated Federal Reserve doing to protect us from this Old World Banking Crisis? They have cut their own currency swap rates to prop up the Old World Central banks, those banks who without your FED support could not charge negative interest rates. That is right it is YOUR FEDERAL RESERVE that is compensating the old world banks for their losses on negative interest. Without being propped up by our Federal Reserve  the Central Banks in the old world would not dare to relinquish their source of revenue from the old world banks.

So here we have them at it once again: Who is going to be paying for this? I have to tell you, sadly, it will be you and I and of course our children and maybe even our children’s children.

Kid on Pot with newspaper

In summary:

Your FED is creating money out of nothing and turning it into debt, so that at some time in the future you and/or your children will have to bear the cost of this negative interest, and all in order to prop up a banking sector in the old world that has many corrupt and inefficient banks that should be left to fail. The collateral the FED is using as it creates new money through bonds to lend out, believe it or not, IS YOUR TAXPAYER MONEY.

Did they ask you whether you wanted to bail out the Old World Banks? Did they ask you whether you agree to having every dollar that you earn or spend become worth less? Did they ask you whether you wanted to prop up socialism in the old world; did they ask you whether you wanted to invite socialism into our free land?

No sirree!

The Federal Reserve operates above even the Federal Political System. It is a global banking Big Brother. Our founders warned us about BIG, BAD Government. Actually they warned us about BIG, BAD Banking also. Our complex banking sector has it rigged so that banks and investment firms are able to keep the profits during the good times. Yet when things get rough, bank losses are being socialized through inflationary bailouts which now have no national boundaries or protective measures. What does this mean to you and your family? It actually means you are going to have to pay for the Federal Reserve’s decision to bolster the Old World banks.  The loss is going to be passed on to you via global inflation.

Not many people are able to think this through and connect the rising prices on gasoline, milk, eggs, and clothing and other basic costs to the dishonest policy of Quantitative Easing.

Banks and corporations that manage our money badly should be allowed to fail. Then the good and honest banks can rise up and we will all be rewarded with a better system, a transparent system.  This is yet another banking scam and it is you and I that are going to be the losers.

Fiat money is causing this crisis and a flood of more make-believe money is not the answer. We don’t need any more quantitative easing and we don’t need any more  bank bail-outs but most of all we don’t need to be left paying for the quantitative easing of the Central Banks of the old world.

What we need is transparency and real monetary reform. When other countries mismanage their finances we need to be able to put protective controls in place, strong gates that keep us out of their mess.  What we really need is sound money.

The Futility of another War with ISIS

Can We Learn the Lessons of History?

By Perry Willis, Vice President, Downsize DC

War with ISIS will achieve nothing. It will only create new enemies and dangers. We can know this because history tells us so.

soldier fighting plane

Consider the chain of cause and effect….

ISIS exists because we went to war with Saddam Hussein in 2003. Before that…

We went to war with Hussein, because he…

* Supposedly had weapons of mass destruction

* Attacked his neighbors

* Used chemical weapons against his citizens

But we were actually complicit in ALL of these things because…

* The U.S. Government gave Hussein the chemical weapons (http://dailym.ai/1xIknoE)

* The U.S. Government urged Hussein to fight Iran

* Our Ambassador gave Hussein a “green light” to invade Kuwait in 1991

In other words…

Hussein warred against his neighbors with our approval, and murdered his own people using weapons we gave him. But the chain of connections goes deeper into history…

We supported Iraq against Iran because Iran had seized our embassy in 1980. But the CIA had used that same Embassy in 1953 to overthrow a democratic government in favor of the dictatorial Shah.

Can you begin to see how every intervention leads to future enemies?

It will be the same with ISIS.

But let’s continue digging through the history…

We overthrew Iran’s government, because we didn’t want the Soviet Union to take over. But the Soviet Union was yet another enemy we had created during an earlier foreign intervention. Here’s how that happened…

In 1917, the Russian people deposed the Czar and created a democracy. We then bribed this new democracy to continue fighting in World War 1, even though the Russian people wanted peace. This action, by us, created the conditions that led to the Bolshevik revolution and the birth of the Soviet Union just a few month’s later.

But the chain of mistakes doesn’t end there. It just keeps going…

The reason we bribed Russia to continue fighting in World War 1, was because we wanted to defeat an earlier enemy, the Kaiser. But defeating the Kaiser paved the way for Hitler. Sum it up….

* We got Hitler and Stalin, because we intervened in World War 1

* We got Mao and North Korea and Vietnam, because we invited Stalin to fight the Japanese in World War 2

* We got radically-Islamic Iran, because we deposed a democratic government over fear of the Soviet Union

* We got the Saddam Hussein boogeyman, because we encouraged him to fight Iran

* And now we have ISIS, because we got rid of Saddam Hussein

When will it end? It will only end when Americans learn the lessons of history. The record is very clear. Our government is no good at foreign intervention. It needs to stop intervening.

It needs to bring home the troops.

third partyNote from Grandma
It is simple. All we have to do is conquer is our fear for this is what is used to manipulate us. It would be good for the majority to wake up.

What they need to come to see is that inevitably the motivation behind war is money.
War is very profitable. The one percent are in love with war. That is how they control us.

When we are stupid and uninformed and fearful we get manipulated by massive propaganda to accept and support wars that are not in our best interest  and this record of history shows us just how futile that has been.

Worse than that we come to condone bad acts done to the people of other nations. This is truly NOT OKAY!

The reason why:

It is simple.  War is control to the financial “evil” oligarchies that are now running the world.

Next tier down there are investing and banking interests eager to make money out of armaments.

Next tier down there is a military/industrial complex which has no real purpose now that America is a super power. So in order to justify their existence and get their greedy hands on our taxpayer money, they have to fabricate (and fund?) wars around the globe.

What is needed here is a thorough investigation to find out who is actually creating and funding ISIS.

We also need to track the connection between ISIS and efforts to manipulate the 2016 presidential election.

We owe it to ourselves, to our sons and daughters  to seek out true data. This is done by conquering our fear.

Voter Fraud

April 2016

I wish it weren’t true  but Election 2016 is on a fast track to follow the predictions (and the corruption) described in Politics IOU which free book you should read to find out how we can all work together to make 2016 come out right. This excerpt is relevant to the 2016 election in November.

There was evidence of voter fraud both in the Democratic and GOP Primaries.

Voter ID is a contentious subject, strongly protested by the left who feel that it discriminates against the old and the uneducated. It could be argued that a citizen who cannot make effort to prove that they are a legal citizen at the polling booth, is not part of the social contract and should not be entitled to vote. Finally we have to ask as much evidence is now surfacing to the contrary, is it right that illegal immigrants be allowed to vote? Did they make their illegal voice heard in 2012? Did they improperly influence the outcome of the last four years?

01 voterfraud obama

You see what the founding fathers did not know, could not know as they were crafting the constitution, was that up the line there would be a digital Revolution and computers and electronics would undo their carefully crafted checks and balances.

Computers should enhance our democracy. With computers it is possible to cross check voting lists and cull dead or duplicate voters. Like fire that can be used to build and heal, or to destroy, computers could open the door to a golden age.  It is all in how the electorate lets them be used.

Read this extract which is in the book Politics IOU (about corrupt politicians, global clout and especially about the digital revolution and its influence on our politics) It explains how we can use computers, not to change the system or constitution, but to enhance its implementation and to make a better America.

The Wrong way for Computers to Count our Votes. (excerpt from Politics IOU)

In this excerpt from “Politics IOU” it is the blogger, Majula, who is explaining that there is a wrong way to count votes with computers.

Once upon a feudal time it was difficult for villagers to participate in the process of government. So they put a man on a horse and sent him to speak for them in the big city and representative government was born. Our choice at that time; predictable rule of law where we can trust each other because we all know the rules or rule by a corrupt king who arbitrarily killed eight wives, killed the acceptable religion, and was determined to tax without representation. The founders understood and warned us that each generation would have to fight executive clout, and corruption, but there was one thing they could not know and that is that one day television and computers would change everything.

It is a sad truth that when some men (or women) rise to greater heights they kick against the constraints of rule of law.

Power corrupts and it has been said that the love of power corrupts absolutely. What of the love of money? There are some men who will do anything for money. There are some men who will do anything for power. With them the end justifies the means and we all need to learn to recognize them and vote them out of office. This we cannot do IF THEY DO NOT COUNT THE VOTES ACCURATELY and if they are corrupt they know this.

In the close runoff between Kyani Ryken and Senator Norman McClosky it was not at all clear who was going to win. The tie-breaker was Shadow State and for the first time in living history the votes there were being counted by computer. Because of my strong interest in changes introduced by the Digital Revolution, I was invited to be an observer. Shortly after arriving at the polling booths in the early morning I had already identified several areas of concern.

“Where are the checks and balances?” I asked the officials.

“‘Duh!’ They were officiating and had no idea of what I was talking.

“Well…” I said, trying to make it simple, so that they could follow, ”How do you know that these computer totals will be accurate?”

“It is all done by computers now,” said the official, clearly exasperated that I was making such a fuss.

“Well yes,” I said, “and you don’t see any problem?”

“No,” the man furrowed his brow.

“Computer-counting is great! We don’t have to do anything,” said his sweet, young assistant.

“No I don’t think so,” I said carefully, “there are, there really are such things as bugged programs.”

“‘Don’t you worry your pretty head Majula,” the official said. “Computers are far more accurate than manual counting.”

“Do you have any kind of manual check at all?” I asked.

I did not want to take away their simple faith in computers, for I, too, am in love with my computer. But I know computers and that is why I also know that there is a right and a wrong way to transition from manual vote-counting to having the computers do it all for you.

So what would be the right way?

It’s a no-brainer. The voter votes and the computer counts and prints a receipt. Have the voter verify his vote, sign the receipt and pop it into a ballot box. These are the votes that are manually counted if there is a challenge to that particular county total.  In most elections these receipts won’t be needed but by their very existence, the integrity of the election is insured. These were the checks and balances I was expecting, but I didn’t see them.

I called both campaigns, but was unable to reach Kyani Ryken. Then I talked to Ginger McClosky. The candidate’s wife got it immediately. Within minutes there were volunteers conducting exit poll surveys. You could see the volunteers in poll booths all across the state.

In the end it was a very close race and the computers awarded the election to Kyani Ryken, Norman McClosky conceded victory and it was all over. The computers had informed the nation that Kyani Ryken had won 52% of the vote. This cannot be challenged when the computers do the counting. So what is the problem?

The problem is that the exit polls got it quite differently. They gave Senator Norman McClosky a 54% lead.

I don’t know if the first election was fraudulent for I have no way of proving it either way when those counts were hidden in computers. What I do know is that proper checks and balances were not put in on that first primary election.

We are in a digital transition and as we change from the manual counting to digital machines, it really, really has to be done right.

The un-american global elite effort to cut America down to size, subordinate our people to global oligarchies, has been progressing in little increments over many years.  2016 is the year we have a chance to stop the rot.  But we have to be vigilant. As Kissinger is once quoted as saying, “The illegal we do immediately, the unconstitutional takes a little longer.” We still have some time. However, if we lose in 2016, especially if we lose due to voter fraud, it is all over. That is the end of America as we know it. We will be wallowing in a sea of corruption.

The leaked Democratic emails show voter fraud with suspected tampering of the counting machines, by the Clinton Campaign against primary opponent Bernie Sanders. Will they also use voter fraud again as a last resort to STOP Donald Trump? The bad news is that Obama is now determined to have the Department of Homeland Security oversee the election. He is entrusting “all voting machines” to the care of DHS.  Is this a good idea, I think not.

Obama wants DHS oversee the November election

Obama wants DHS oversee the November Election

Jeh Johnson heads the DHS. He was appointed to the post by Obama himself. Can he be considered an objective player in this contest? Before he ascended to this post, he was active in Democratic Party politics as a fundraiser and adviser to the Kerry & Obama presidential campaigns.  Furthermore, as this election is shaping up to be more about Global vs. Patriot than Democrat vs Republican, Johnson has come right out and shown where he stands. In a speech in January 2011 he erroneously claimed that the imperial wars in Iraq & Afghanistan were quite in line with Martin Luther King thinking, and that he supported them.  Now Obama, returning from the United Nations, wants this man to oversee the elections. I think not.

In his last speech to the UN  Obama came right out and said that Americans must be willing to lose freedoms in order to submit to an International New World Order. So we know where Obama stands on the key issues of this election. He is a globalist through and through.

I remind all true Republicans that this election is about is preserving the Republic, that which made America Great. It is about restricting government to only government by the consent of the governed. It is about a smaller Federal Government. It is about eliminating duplicate functions in the Intelligence Bureaucracy and making government more effective. It is about restoring and protecting the constitutional balance of power between the Executive, the Judiciary and the Legislature. It is all about giving the people a voice in how they prosper. So much depends on honest elections.

Without signed receipts kept for manual counting in the event there is a challenged county tally, votes should not be counted by computers.

The paper trail has the extra value in that it acts as an ethical check which may not ever need to be there. Yet knowing that it exists deters corrupt politicians who would not dare to risk the bad PR of a fraudulent count.

Power corrupts and it has been said that the love of power corrupts absolutely.
The amount of privilege and corrupt money that will go away with a Trump presidency is astronomical. The banks and global elite won’t stop at voter fraud. There are some men (or women) who will do anything for power.

Lost Prosperity

Small Business Trends
(Excerpt from  ”Politics IOU” by Margaret Lynn Verhoeff AKA Grandma Thunder}

Spider didn’t want to go out for fast-food!  It reminded him too much of his early, humble beginnings.

Their fancy restaurant was closed. After thirty years in business it had closed it doors. Had it been open, few vendors attending their annual get- together would have been able to afford the fancy meal they had all so very much enjoyed in better years.  The vendors had been meeting together at the same restaurant for six or seven years. He was sorry to see the restaurant go under for it’s superb style had meant something to him.  He and his young wife were still going to be getting together with their friends to welcome in the New Year, but maybe for the last time.  Spider wondered how many vendors would come, surely fewer than the prior year, and definitely a much smaller number than in the good years when it was still possible to make a living as a vendor.

Would he and Ginsee meet with them the following year? He really had no idea.

closing down

Spider had grown up on the streets in Workingman’s City. He understood  what it took to keep a small business afloat during the hard times. As a street urchin, he had been fed and helped by some of the kinder Workingman City small shop owners.  As he had grown he was too proud to accept a hand-out, and he had worked for his keep, doing whatever he could do to help those who had helped him.. A few shopkeepers had discovered that he was good with numbers and that was how he had come to learn the small business, economic model.

Later he had had the good fortune and the smarts to escape Workingman’s City, to get himself a degree in economics, and to enter the corporate world. That didn’t work out for he was too much a free spirit to adapt to the corporate hierarchy.

He had quit the corporate world after he had met the ethereal Ginsee. She was as light and white as he was dark and wiry, twelve years younger than he.  They had agreed to start a small business together and for ten years they had made a good living selling art, while visiting some of the more prestigious offices and hospitals, helping with fundraising and bringing a little cheer to the corporate employees. After marrying they had purchased a cabin on the edge of the high protected forest in the mountains of Shadow County from where they traveled out to do their shows. The terrain was as different from Working Man City as Spider could find. His favorite sport was rock climbing; he loved to hang halfway between heaven and earth. It was his agility as a rock climber that had earned him the nickname, Spider.

He loved his young wife deeply, and they very rarely quarreled; both upbeat souls, they seemed to agree on most things. But as they got ready to go to the fast food restaurant where they were meeting the other vendors, a fight was starting that was shaping up to be a doozy.

“You are planning to quit aren’t you, Spider? “ She made the accusation in a tone laced with make-wrong. She was right, he had been figuring on how to frame an elegant exit strategy from the game he and Ginsee had played for over ten years.

He was silent for a beat, he hadn’t told her, she had guessed. “I’ll be honest with you, Ginsee I have been looking at it,” he said.

“You mean you are actually thinking of stopping the mobile gallery?” she asked with narrowed eyes.

“Not ever leaving you, just quitting the business,” he said and smiled. It was said to reassure her but it didn’t have the required effect.

“You want us to just quit!”

“Because we are losing money.”

“And we don’t have enough to ride it out? “

“Of course we do, but that is not the point.” he had spent his money on property and invested astutely.

“What is the point?”

“Are you sure you don’t want to just stop, Ginsee.?” She was surprising him. It had been hard on her too of late.

“You can quit Spider but I for one am not going under.” It was said with a firmness that was quite unlike her and he was caught flatfooted by her reaction. While he could or not have their small business, he was stunned to see that she was emotional about losing it. He decided that like a house sacrificed to the mortgage crisis, there is a lot of feeling invested in a small business, especially a family business or one lasting several years like theirs.

”You don’t want to go do something new? There are lots of things we can do.”

‘“Absolutely not!”

It was said with such firmness that he stood there just looking at her.

“So you’re a quitter Spider?”

“I am not a quitter,” he said.

“You quit the corporate world and now you are quitting small business”  It came across as a make-wrong and put him on the defensive.

“You need to wake up, Ginsee, times have changed.”  He said it with a touch of patronization that he instantly regretted. She always reacted badly to that, knowing that she wasn’t as well educated as he.

“I don’t care!”  She had tears in her eyes.

He back pedaled and said patiently “With the volunteer strike we lost our biggest account, the hospital.  Add to that that there are just too many Corporations leaving Shadow County. You have to admit Ginsee that our accounts have been dwindling. We are operating in a playing field that is contracting.”

“I know that Spider.”

They had recently gone into a large office building, one of their bigger accounts, only to find that three office wings had been evacuated. The lights were off and the wind was howling down the corridors.

“Where are all the people,” she had asked.

“They have all been shipped  to the Third World,” said a loyal customer, one of the few who had staid. In the Third World corporate employees could be had for ten on the dime.

“What about the Shadow County fiasco? It could happen again,” he said.

The County Supervisors had axed what had been a win-win activity. For almost thirty years vendors had gone into the Shadow County offices to create events, partnering with the Shadow County Employees to support charities. What sat in Spider’s craw was that he knew that the popular vendor events served the county employees in many ways that the supervisors didn’t even begin to appreciate.  It brought them unusual products and gave them a worthwhile game.  What Spider had most hated was that shortly before the guillotine had fallen, he had spent over two thousand dollars to fill special orders for a County facility where he could now no longer go. There had been no warning.

What he had loved about their County events was the spontaneity. In one company an inspired worker had adopted a family and helped them celebrate the Year-end. Soon the other employees had jumped aboard to where he found that their commission was helping over a hundred families in the community. Spider loved that. When you donate to big charity it is the bureaucrats who get the money.  Furthermore he understood that when the public sector failed to support the private sector, the tax base began to shrink and that was what caused government layoffs and the beginning of a dwindling spiral. How Spider hated BIG government in bed with BIG corporations and now also in bed with BIG charities.

“The dice is loaded against small business; think of Fred and your pool.”  He was still trying to win her over to his point of view.

Fred Kent was their framer; a man who had been very much a part of the success of their business. When the economy had turned down Spider had gone to him to ask how much he owed the banks, fearing the worst because Fred had undergone a big expansion just before the slide. The framer had been a prudent man, and now owned his property outright. When he told Spider that he owed nothing, Spider had hugged him.  With this framer on their supply lines, Spider had known they could prevail whatever government chose to do with the economy.  Yet they had just heard that Fred had, had to layoff some staff and cut his warehouse-space in half, renting out the part.  He didn’t have big business debts but there were always the operating costs, costs that were going up due to inflation. Ginsee’s physical therapist had also layed off staff and closed the pool, she said too many silly regulations for the pool, and heating costs were prohibitive. She was also operating with half the space she had enjoyed before in the better times.

“But they are not quitting, Zafia is not quitting, and Fred is not quitting.  They offer so much that I know they will survive. What I don’t like is that you are wanting to quit, Spider.”

“What is going on here Ginsee, this is not at all like you?”he asked. Usually she meekly followed his lead.

“What I don’t like is that It is all Corkscrew’s fault; we quit and he wins.”

“What?” He was still smarting from being called a quitter, and still hadn’t figured out what the conversation was about, so he said, “Yet you voted for him.”

Corkscrew was a little rotund man, with indeterminate color and big ears.  He was their elected President. Spider, a strong supporter of the Constitution had gone to the president-elect’s website and had been able to read the socialist agenda that was couched between the lines and had not voted for him. Many innocent voters like Ginsee had been taken in. This had been before they were married.

“Yes damn you Spider I did vote for him and I regret it. That was before you educated me. I have come to see that this president is bad for the New World,”  Spider inclined his head. It was the first time she had acknowledged his views on Corkscrew.

It was their friend Jamboree who had given the devious President the name Corkscrew in her saucy blog, ”Pink Salt”. The post had gone viral and the name had stuck,.

satirical on corruption

“I wouldn’t worry Ginsee, the cadaverous senators supporting the man are already half dead. It is just a matter of time before they all go down.” Ginsee didn’t smile.

“Seriously Spider, the man has far too much power.”

“You think?”

“And what has this to do with our business?”

“What is it we sell Spider?”

“Framed art.”

“No. Think about it, what do we advertise all the time?  We advertise ‘quality of life’. ”

Spider had to concede that what she was saying was true: for their tagline was ‘Quality of Life that is Affordable.’

“Think back to your horrible life in Working Man’s city.”  she continued intensely.

He looked at her now fully engaged, remembering tract upon tract of drab square government houses.

“So what happened in Working Man’s City is happening right here and now in Shadow County.  Did you see what they have done to the foothills? They are scraping off the tops of the hillocks to level the ground.  At least in Working Man’s City it was flat to start with.”

“They are trying to make everything flat?” He hated that.

“That is right. You didn’t know? ”

“It is all going to be all flat and ugly here.” She was still teary..

“Socialism is ugly.”

“Socialism is the big equalizer, I know how you hate that.”

She smiled at him and he smiled back. They were talking again.

“He is screwing with us, Spider, but that is not why I don’t want to quit.  We make aesthetics and quality of life affordable for the ordinary man. It is now hard times, and I don’t want to also take that away from our customers. Going on is the least we can do. I don’t want to take a quality of life away from the people that we have served for over ten years.”

Spider got it. He finally got it. He went over to her and hugged her.

“I understand.” How far his fairy princess had come since he had married her. She was amazing! She was awesome!

“”And we will stay in business and flourish and prosper?”

“To flourish and prosper we are going to have to handle Corkscrew.”

“That too.”

Proof that you cannot Multiply Wealth by Dividing it!

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that socialism worked, and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

picture of skunk looking at new flag for USAThe professor then said, “OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism ”
… All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A…. (Substituting grades for dollars – something closer to home and more readily understood by all).

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy.
When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

This story was forwarded without the original source. Grandma did not write it.  She thought it great, and so is sharing with you.

This is Grandma’s take on Socialism

  1. When the people get the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.
  2. When some of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, that is also the beginning of the end of the nation.
  3. Government cannot give to anybody anything what the government does not first take from somebody else.  When politicians perfect the art of taking from producers, it is the beginning of the end of a nation.
  4. Oligarchies, Monopolies and Crony Capitalism does this better (i.e.Stealing from the people) than even Big Government.  When the idle rich and the idle poor get in bed with the force of Big Government with intent to steal from the people (in other words to create Socialism) the end is very nigh.
  5. Socialism destroys society and local communities. It is mostly embraced by those who seek unfair advantage over others. It is also attractive to victims, those who do not take responsibility. Give such people power and that is the beginning of the end of a nation.

This is a blog post from Grandma Thunder. Can you think of a single reason for not sharing this classroom story? Neither could Grandma! So she has shared it with you. Please do also share!

Visas for Illegal Immigrants

What is wrong with the Senate Bill?

In the middle of this contentious debate we need to remember that there are many wonderful things about the Latino Heritage. There is the music, and the dance, but most of all there is good Mexican food that has fully captured the American imagination.

latin lady dancing

                         Latino Culture

That said, the rejected Senate Illegal Immigration Bill  falls short in five key areas:

It is too long and complex to gain our acceptance or trust. (Downsize DC has a great idea : One subject, one bill with its subject clearly stated in its title.)The taxpayer  has been fooled (many, many times) by hidden agendas and pork written into  long bills  What is needed is that Congress simplifies the legislative process and brings the final bill to under 550 pages – Congress really doesn’t have to please everybody with sub-clauses, exceptions can be sorted out later.  It just needs to satisfy “we the people”, AKA the majority, AKA  the taxpayer, AKA the electorate. For believe me it is the hot issue that will decide the 2016  election.  550 pages MAX!

In essence a winning solution keeps out the bad guys, lowers the cost and is compassionate and pragmatic.

Grave concerns about a Federal Work Database.Obama’s Bio-metric database will get linked to the ObamaCare and to other gazillian public benefit databases, like food stamps and childcare. Very soon the government  will know every last detail about our lives. The next step could be to tie Federal benefits to “Correct Thinking” as in George Orwell’s 1984. That is when we will have lost all liberty & privacy and embraced big brother.

It should be up to the States as to how they record and control permits for workers within their borders. Red states like Arizona should have the freedom  to implement stricter immigrant controls than do the blue states.

We are a nation ruled by laws: Illegal immigrants broke our law and need to be given a strong thinking adjustment so that they know that in this country illegal is just not the best way to go.  Fining is quick and dirty and unlikely to change bad habits. Could they get their hands dirty and do some community service to make up for all the problems they have given us?  Is five years community service enough to deter those here for teh gravy train?

Latinos, for good or for bad, are breeding at a faster rate than Caucasians. This is actually something we need in America to return to prosperity.  The structure of our system is built around the idea that the young support the old with regards to funding of government projects and benefits.  Illegal immigrants came here for a better life and they are welcome, but they have to learn the work ethic and cultural ideas that made America more prosperous than Mexico. They have to let  go of third world ideas that have destroyed their own culture .and begin to embrace the American dream.

The problem with Latinos is that while they have a beautiful culture to share, they have a slow rate of assimilation.into the American lifestyle.  The reason for this slow assimilation could well be the language, there are enough of them that they are not forced by life to speak English.

The official language in America is English; it could be French or Spanish, but right now it is English and it is the language that holds the American heritage of freedom and our culture, our laws, our justice and our traditions. At the fast rate that our friends from the South are breeding, we are already on a fast track to become a multi-lingual nation. With our low job growth and our low GDP and our exorbitant debt, we need to seriously think of the cost to the nation of having more than one official language. Cost of official papers, translators, teachers and on and on. Right now we could give a boost to an ailing economy by mandating that all official and public writings are ONLY in English.  This rule should read that every immigrant has every right to speak whatever language they choose within the confines of their own home and their own social circle;however there should be only English spoken by public servants or shopkeepers and all official writings SHOULD BE IN ENGLISH ONLY.

Latinos  and all immigrants MUST learn the language but after a reasonable time if they cannot speak the language of the land, no more benefits and no more work permits. Before an Illegal immigrant is given a green card (whatever the other conditional requirements) the illegal immigrant should be able to demonstrate a comfortable proficiency in English.  It is not that English is better than Spanish. This is not a point of arrogance. It is a way to preserve what is good about the American culture and much of that is contained in the language.

Border security is paramount.
Once we bring this crisis situation back under the law, AND UNDER CONTROL we have to draw a line and look to the future.    It may not be as bad a situation as many fearful conservatives think. A friend does the books for a Mexican company that organizes coming out parties for young Mexican girls, so he knows the Mexican  culture.  He tells me that with the dipping of the economy both in Mexico and in America,  coming across the border is not as easy or as attractive as it was before; it simply costs too much.  The price has gone up for free passage with every new increase in border security and the new costs are already prohibitive even if the fence is not yet complete.

We simply have to secure and defend our borders against illegal immigration. The cost is too high.

A part of this would be to have the law state that no immigrants are eligible for benefits like food stamps or childcare until they have paid taxes and into Social Security for ten years. This will make it far less attractive for the freeloaders, those who come over to join Obama’s gravy train.

This is a problem in education. If they cannot learn our culture, our heritage and our work ethic they are not welcome in our land. If they can, we would love to have them.  Let’s not block out the able in the world who wish to join with us in creating a better life for all of us in America and want  to work really hard to get ahead.

Finding if they are willing to learn the language and to do community service to raise the standards in their own communities, would be a good way to see if they qualify.

Our Constipated Economy – The Economic Scoop about Poop

From Grandma

Poop is not generally discussed in our daily conversation except (as now) when applied metaphorically to harsh and hard economic realities in a constipated economy. Dustin Hoffman once quipped that we know we are growing older when our conversation shifts from sex to our bowel movements.

A prosperous economy relies on a proper rate of distribution of goods and services; not too fast and not too slow. Being gassy, bloated, and generally uncomfortable is an indication of constipation. With all the hot air of the last election, all about the economy, with all that political pushing and straining, we find ourselves today no better off than before. We are left after the election with a whole lot of nothin’ – just hot smelly air.

get the runs

Could it be the FED?

Medicine has advanced to where it is possible to give a body a endoscopy to find out what is causing the blockage and the irregular bowel movements.  Sadly we do not enjoy the same transparency, the same facility to seek out the spiders in our economy. The house has passed a bill “Audit the Fed” which is being stopped/blocked in a Senate filled with old guard career politicians.

IIs it not the FED’s job to set the speed of the Economy?

One can compare the ideal flow of goods and services through a healthy economy to the optimum rate of food going through a body where nutrients are absorbed and the waste eliminated. The process is pretty much the same. We use the term “stopped up” when we get constipated. When we talk about the economy we prefer the term “the economy is sluggish” but in fact both words mean the same; both words mean a natural flow has been slowed or arrested.

Constipation can be caused by foreign elements like cancer, where growth has gone unchecked. The result is big, ugly, hard, blue-black stools that smell.

We find the equivalent in the economy where foreign spider-entities are going unchecked (as in too big to fail). When intervention is called for either in a colon, or in an economy, without establishing true facts, all that we can know is that there is a situation.

For a natural prosperity there should be a natural, regular flow of goods and services through the economy. Economic speed is slowed down by arbitrary decision points and by too many regulations. With a body or with the economy where there is arbitrary effort to hold back or hold on, or reward one sector at the cost of another, the system tends to break.

Waiting out the bad situation

Our bowel movements are easier to solve than the American economy. Eliminator One (from Picture Lady Health and Beauty) is a fail-safe laxative. It rehabilitates your colon, and puts the muscles of your bowels back into proper action, and it works every time.

With regards the economy we simple folk, too small to succeed, dig in and figure out how to wait out what may in fact be a long, but contrived recession.

Will Raising the Minimum Wage Create Jobs?

Grandpa suggests ways to reduce unemployment and get us out of an end of endless economic slump

President Obama has expressed his support for creating more jobs for Americans. We all know that’s what he stands for.

At the same time he is committed to raising the minimum wage. A noble concept, one that seeks to keep pace with the rising costs from inflation, but will it create more jobs?

showing the relationship between minimum wage increases and unemployment

Rising Unemployment – a consequence of the Increase of the Minimum Wage?

If the President really wants to help the economy he should keep the cost of living down for poorer Americans; he would make it easier for employers to hire new workers and he would make it easier for America to compete in the global economy.

He should also look at the printing of all the bail-out money that makes for inflation, for it is rising costs that will undo not only the minimum wage workers, but all small business owners.

Raising the minimum wage may increase the President’s popularity among the earners of low wages (those who get to keep their jobs, that is), but few people realize how much employees actually cost employers. Employers don’t have to pay only the wages, but they also have to contribute to the employee’s Social Security, Medicare, Worker’s Comp and Unemployment insurance, not to mention mandated ObamaCare costs. In self defense small business owners may have no choice but to keep their work enterprise small (and keep it all) or they will go under.

While small businesses are the mainstay of the American economy, most are struggling and the net result of raising the minimum wage is that employees who aren’t essential to the survival of the business will be let go, while some businesses may have to permanently close their doors. All of this means more unemployment.

Here is an approach that should reduce unemployment and get us out of the economic slump:

  1. Level the global playing field
  2. Stabilize the dollar
  3. Balance imports and exports
  4. Downsize the government

Level the global playing field – More and more of the things we buy are imported, especially from the People’s Republic of China. It is nice of the U.S. government to help raise the living standard of the people in this communist nation’s worker’s paradise, but a government’s primary responsibility is toward its own people.

Leveling the playing field should improve our nation’s prosperity, as ultimately wealth is the result of productivity and innovation. With a struggling economy and a debt-ridden government, the wrong thing to do is raise wages and increase benefits. Employment is encouraged by reducing burdens on employers – fewer rules and regulations will also help.

Another way to reduce unemployment is to impose (temporary and modest) tariffs on imports. That will make it more possible for American manufacturing businesses to compete with other countries, as well as raise revenue for the U.S. government.

Stabilize the dollar – It will also be helpful to stop inflating the money supply, because the more dollars are created out of thin air (think bail-outs), the more expensive our goods and services will become and the less we will be able to compete with the rest of the world. Besides, by inflating the money supply, the government is stealing from everybody.

A requirement for a stable dollar is for all government (federal, state and local) to live within its means and not to spend more money than it has coming in. Not an easy task, I know, but a necessary one. This means that in hard times it has to tighten the belt by getting rid of all waste. For our current federal government, that means ceasing all bail-outs and reducing subsidies, foreign aid and foreign military presence. And, of course, not starting any new wars.

Balance imports and exports – This is also part of stabilizing the dollar, because if we as a nation spend more than we have coming in, we will get into trouble, just as we as individuals will when we live beyond our means. As mentioned earlier, when imports exceed exports, raise tariffs on imports. While that may be unpopular with other countries, our own nation’s welfare should be paramount.

Downsize the government – Government has in recent decades grown into a monster that meddles in all our lives. Besides being a threat to our liberty, the cost to taxpayers is huge. Our government employees are ultimately financed by the productive population.

The primary purpose of a government is to maintain order within is borders. The police and the court system are there to isolate the criminal element from the rest of society. Most other government departments are unnecessary and could be disbanded with few ill effects. Their functions could be carried out better and more economically by private enterprise. The talents of the government employees can then be used to raise productivity in the private sector, which would be to everyone’s benefit.

As you can see from the above, it is possible to increase employment and raise prosperity. While these ideas are unlikely to be implemented in the near future, I am putting these thoughts out there as, after all, the pen is more powerful than the sword.

Ideas are senior to force

The Pen is Mightier than the Sword

America’s Debt

Insatiable Spendifosity – with apologies to Rudyard Kipling.

Once upon a time, dearly beloved, there was a little planet scooting around  on the very edge of the universe. No I wouldn’t be telling you this story if there wasn’t a most picarious situation there on that little planet.

The problem is sentially the boss-men can’t agree when the little planet is wallowing in debt, not just a little debt but a big, bad debt; a VERY big debt which would be quite alright if you and me were not (again) expected to pay.

elephant and donkey fightingHere are the guys take turns running the show on this little planet.  One side gives out the food stamps, and the aid to refugees & immigrants (all paid for by the banking FED). The other side fancies big bombs and whrrrrrr fast planes. You like that eh? Truth is this side likes to fight are mostly crusty OLD white men, been getting a payoff under the table since time began.

Will you, one day, be expected to pay?  Unless they get their shit together. Fraid so!

How much do we owe?  Click to see the amount in pictures. A quarter, a dollar, ten dollars, a hundred dollars? The debt is now over 120 trillion dollars.  To pay your share you would have to work for a whole year with no ice-creams, no burgers, and you wouldn’t be able to pay the rent or go to school.

There is only one thing on which both sides boss-boys agree: they all love to spend and spend and spend and spend.  Right now one boss-man wants to cut titlements, and the other wants to tax the rich.

No you are right, they really don’t know what they are doing!

What is titlements? Well it is like this, if you loan money to the government or to a banker, then when they finally get to pay you back, then they call it titlements.

Let me tell you a secret. The truth is that these two groups  pretend not to agree, but I suspect that is all for show.  You member the time you and I were caught with our hands in the cookie jar and we had to concoct a good story together?   Are bankers the same as boss-men? Well kind of, sort of. It is they who have their fingers in the cookie jar!

What is the fiscal cliff?

It is when you put too much money in the cookie jar and try to pick it up but it has got too heavy. So you drop it and it breaks and the money runs everywhere.

You think that’s funny? You like that picture? Ok.

Looking at the debt pictures.

What is fiscal? It means money.

Oh no, no, no, you don’t want to push both groups over the cliff although I do understand your anger, dearly beloved.  You looked at those pictures? One hundred and twenty billion dollars is one hefty, big tag they are going to be asking you to pay. Now they have increased it to thirty million AND THEY WANT YOU TO ALSO PAY FOR REFUGEES FOR FIVE LONG YEARS.

Big Banks on a Fiscal Cliff  What I want you to know is that if we just quit holding the safety net, the big bad banks will all go a slipping and a sliding all the way down the REAL fiscal cliff and sink under a sea of derivatives. It was they who created the casino-system that made your bad debt and conned both leader-groups into accepting it, oh yes, really, oh yes, really really!

We not bail them out again?

No Not under the big man.   He knows there a law to handle situations like this.

All supported by the tax payer

The Safety Net

Meanwhile while the big bad banks continue their shilly-shanigans. I am going to take all your money put it into a little credit union. I have already taken it out of the stock exchange. It is the revenge of the taxpayer and the likes of you and I. Credit unions (for now) don’t play around with your money and deliver an honest service.

The big, bad banks are sliding down a real fiscal cliff, and they won’t land softly.

Thank you? You’re welcome.

Yes I know.  A very bad thing to borrow money we cannot pay back.

Are we really ruptbanked?

Bankrupt? Yes dearly beloved America has been bankrupt a long, long time, Running on debt is built into the rigged system. It is designed to be like that.  Don’t make another ugly face!

And the big man, he the one with the funny, ugly  faces, he knows about such things?

Yes I think he does.

He made the debt?

Oh no. He very frugal.  I think he will stop the spending.

And you say it my money they are spending?

Fraid so.

He makes me laugh. I think he fix it up.

He strong enough to throw them all over the Fiscal Cliff?

The Merry Go Round

 What Goes Around Comes Around.

in 2012 why did MItt Romney/Paul Ryan  lose the election for the GOP?

This election was a spectacle with titillating, incredibly scintillating razzle-dazzle! With all that juicy, sparkling money coming in from Super PACs should we be surprised that the election became one big circus.

the circus

What goes Around comes Around

And when the circus was all over with the lights on the merry-go-round going dim and winking out, it was the donkeys who had won and they had won big time.

A herd of dejected, elephants were leaving office and trudging down the hill.

We are inclined to think that most of the money coming in from these independent political groups creating influence and super PACs were leaning to the right.  If you were to make this assumption you would be dead wrong. They are now increasingly looking LEFT.The super-rich are seeking perks from a party that ran on the platform “Tax the Rich!” LOL.

  • Tax-exempt foundations supporting Obama have assets ten times greater than tax-exempt trusts and foundations supporting the GOP.
  • That the moneyed, philanthropic world is fast moving to the left and has been for some time can be proven by tracking their donations on Open Secrets.  These global elites would appear to have cottoned on to the fact that if you want to control the masses, this is the way to go.  Among the Obama/Hillary supporters you can find: The Rockefeller Foundation; the Rockefeller Family Fund; the Ford Foundation; the Carnegie Corporation; the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation; the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; the Heinz Family Foundation; the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation; the Fannie Mae Foundation; the Chevron-Texaco Foundation; the Annie E. Casey Foundation; the AT&T Foundation and many more and of course Goldman “Sucks”
  • Many super rich CEO’s that backed Obama in 2008 have been well rewarded: Jamie Dimon (JP Morgan Chase) Dick Fuld (CEO Lehman Bros) Warren Spector (CEO Bear Sterns) Larry Fink (Black Rock Money Management) Greg Fleming (Merrill Lynch) and Larry Blankfein (CEO Goldman Sachs).Warren Buffet and George Soros were both well rewarded by the Obama administration. Other donkey-perks have gone to Walmart (food stamps), J.P.Morgan Chase (Food Stamp EBT bank-fees) , and Pfizer (Obamacare).
  • The Rothschilds are closely linked to Clinton. Marc Mezvinsky, the husband of Chelsea, is a money manager with connections to Goldman Sachs & the Rothschilds. Jacob Rothschild has donated money to the Clinton Foundation.
  • Should we  investigate to see if Romney/Ryan also have ties to the global elites,
these corrupt money managers who wish to transform America into the new North American Continent in a global dictatorial order WHICH FAILS TO HONOR “BALANCE OF POWER, our CONSTITUTION or HUMAN RIGHTS”?

obama statsSo in 2012 against all odds, Obama won the White House. On leaked data from FOI Judicial Watch and the excessive numbers of non-citizens on the voting registers he won with voter fraud. Now as leader of the house Ryan has the power to fix the problem. I don’t see him actively doing anything.

What “King” Obama has done to America in the last four years is an abomination. He has shredded the Constitution, advanced the threat of Islam waged illegal wars appointed judges who elevate racial sensitivity above the fundamentals of the constitution AND SET US UP FOR MARTIAL LAW.

By losing in 2012 the consequences have been catastrophic. We have one last chance in 2016 and all three losers are attacking the one person standing up for America. Shame on them.

Thanks to good work by Rience Priebus and the Tea Party, good people all, the GOP was still able to keep control of the House and there has been a good resurrection and defense of the American constitution over the last four years.

Should we hold Ryan, Romney & McCain accountable? You bet. There is a cost to not stopping evil. Minimally they should look themselves in the face and see their own sins, then they should apologize to America.

The GOP will lose again in 2016 if they do not roll up their sleeves and root out all the entrenched corruption and FALSE IDEAS that have accumulated over the last fifty years.

Politicians tend to think that when they do their dirty deeds that there are no consequences. Not true! Even in politics it seems that doing unto others as you would have them do unto you, is actually (long-term) the cleverer way to go. Good politics builds trust. Until Trump came along, the country had lost its faith in the political elite and in the integrity of the political.process. Yet this is SO VERY vital and important. We are navigating the digital revolution which is of greater magnitude even than the industrial revolution. So far we have gotten away with it, without a civil war or having to take our corrupt elites to the guillotine. This is only thanks to our political  process, faulty as it is.

So what to still needs to get cleaned up?

The GOP Karl Rove invented and perfected the negative attack ad which created in turn a toxic, fearful & divisive parliament.  It was these dirty, diabolical tricks that gave us Bush-baby and kept him in office for two terms and he, too nearly did us in. Not a good game to play, Karl Rove. You are a good republican but these black-propaganda techniques are actually damaging to the Republican party and to the democratic process. It would also be in order for Karl Rove to apologize to America.

What goes around comes around.

By 2012, the Democrats had finally mastered the black slander arts with a brilliance unmatched even in the prior elections of Bush Daddy and Bush Baby. Mitt Romney was positioned as a liar, a tax evader, out of touch and uncaring – I suspect that there is little truth in any of these allegations yet they were thrown out so often and on so many channels that they were made to stick. Democrats consider the rich should pay a high tax rate and fund their indigence. They were able to successfully BLAME Romney. So far, bless him, Trump is avoiding this “we pay for you” tax pitfall.

Karl Rove was initially a Bush-Daddy man. That is right, H.W. Bush the GOP one-term president who was defeated by Clinton and is famous for the line, “read my lips – no new taxes” just before he raised the taxes The irony is that the real crime was in the lie not in the taxes. People rarely forgive politicians when they make a promise and fail to deliver. The truth is that taxes are sometimes good and sometimes bad, politicians shouldn’t ever generalize or make promises they cannot keep.

Now Daddy-Bush is an interesting character. It is rumored he engaged in covert shenanigans with his Saudi friends to prevent the American hostages being released for long enough to undo Carter’s bid for a second term.  The fact is the hostages were released, but they were released only when Reagan was about to be sworn in.  President. Carter has said that his failure to bring the hostages home cost him his second term.  So Daddy-Bush made Carter a one-term president – and guess what, not too long thereafter, Daddy-Bush also became a one-term President.

What goes around comes around

The thing is that Romney/Ryan failed to differentiate themselves from Bush or from the torture/war maniac, Dick Cheney. So what happened is Romney assumed their crimes. In 2016 by his rhetoric and actions we have to suspect he still has not woken up and shone his moral compass.

Paul Ryan is intelligent & likable BUT HE, TOO,  IS GOING TO HAVE TO RADICALLY CHANGE HIS TUNE in order to climb aboard the patriotic Trump Train.

Trump is not a bigot, he is not a racialist and he is right that until we know what is going on with Radical Islam, we need to put in better controls.

We need to hold all accountable including Romney/Ryan for the diabolical success of the PAST FOUR YEARS DECLINE INTO CORRUPTION. We need to also hold them accountable for the unconstitutional executive clout of King Obama. We have to hold them accountable for the pernicious four year’s growth of the size and clout of the Federal Government. We have to hold them accountable for the disintegration of the middle East and the frightening rise of ISIS, of Radical Islam over the last four years when the core principles of the GOP were severely challenged.

What goes around, comes around.

Congress is investigating Hillary and Soros but what about Cheney? They investigate Clinton but what of Bush & Romney & Ryan?   An investigation of ALL members of Congress to expose their connections to Radical Islam, International Socialism, the Bilderberger NWO adn Communism is in order. We have traitors within.

It is a problem in Justice.

Thoroughly investigating the last sixteen or more years would free up the Republican party from past crimes committed in their own ranks and by the opposition. Try Gowdy would be the ideal man for the job. Americans deserve a clean government. Don’t have to prosecute everybody, just put the worst most corrupt offenders head on a pike to send out a clear message to America and the world, we are still the good guys in America.  It would tell the world that we in America can handle power without going corrupt.

In 2016 thanks to the Trump revolution, America is getting a second chance to clean up the party’s  act and if it does, the GOP is going to win big time, it will be a Trump landslide. The Trumps are not angels but they are mostly clean, have no connection to global oligarchies, and stand strong & tall. The current Obama/Hillary administration is crooked, and therefore easy to beat.

We won’t be able to have that big win unless the  Republican Party Elite change their tune and distance themselves from corrupt lobbyists and consultants (who needs them?) from the corrupt donors gaming the system, and from banking as usual and politics as usual.

What never ceases to amaze me is mankind’s apparent compulsion to destroy its own kind. Europe in particular has a long history of wars – World Wars One and Two come to mind immediately, with many more before that. My own country of origin, Holland, once fought a war with Spain that lasted eighty years!

Asia also has a long history of blood on its hands. The names of Genghis Khan, Tamerlane, Attila the Hun and the phrase, “pyramids of skulls” are familiar to many of us.

Our own nation is no exception. Did you know that these United States have been actively involved in twenty wars since the War of Independence? Hard to believe? It’s true; I’ve counted them. Check it out at about.com. That’s a war about every twelve years.

Going to war

Wars are crazy. They maim and kill millions, mostly innocent civilians, but also the soldiers who have been sent to kill others with whom they did not really have a quarrel. And of course there are the billions in property damage and the destruction of priceless historical treasures that were so carefully constructed.

One would have to be a fool to believe that there is merit in war, yet we continue to glorify it. Our history books don’t tell us much about past constructive movements, but they never fail to tell us about what wars were fought and when.

In the old days wars were fought to gain territory and to plunder the enemy’s riches. Now, like in Iraq, the aggressor wins nothing and the taxpayers foot the bill. Common sense tells us it is time to abolish this barbaric practice.

Don’t get me wrong; the use of force is sometimes the only way to handle a threat. Wisdom alone will not prevent violence. Tibetan lamas are perhaps the wisest men on Earth, but they were easily defeated by a horde of Chinese peasants with guns. So, while the use of force seldom leads to a satisfactory conclusion, it is sometimes necessary. The problem is that once you build up a military force, ready to defend the nation, they don’t want to sit around, waiting for some enemy to attempt an invasion. You train them to fight, they’ll want a fight. It only makes sense.

What to do? It’s a dilemma. We want peace, yet we need a fighting force, just in case. And that fighting force does not want to remain idle for long, or their morale will drop out the bottom. Eventually, they start inventing enemies and they may even create false flag events. (This is speculation, but human nature being what it is, we have to consider that the possibility could exist.) For more evidence that all is not what it seems, view this video interview with General Wesley Clark.

Well, let’s take a look at the problem and let’s get creative. Having a military force prepared to meet the challenges of fighting human enemies, why not balance that destructive force with a constructive one?

There are plenty of other challenges in life. Disaster relief is one.  We get earthquakes, floods, droughts, hurricanes and forest fires. What if we train our troops to help out there? And when we don’t have wars or disasters, the troops could help with our nation’s infrastructure – improve the roads, build rail links and install a nationwide fiber optics network, for example. Energy production and distribution and water desalination are further areas where  the military could help.

Of course such projects would require safeguards. We don’t want the military to run the country. The idea is for the troops to help out and provide manpower for the public good, not to hand over control to them. Do the job and move out! These assignments should also be made judiciously to avoid putting existing enterprises out of business; they should be approved by the Congress and ratified by the President.

What do you think of the idea? I would like your feedback on this.

The Presidential Debates

Grandma on “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”

Grandma Thunder

Hats off the American Undecided Voter!
The best thing about this debate was the quality of the penetrating questions.

Here are some examples:
To Governor Romney: How are you different from George Bush?

To the President: Your energy secretary, Steven Chu, has now been on record three times stating it’s not the policy of his department to help lower gas prices. Do you agree with Secretary Chu that this is not the job of the Energy Department?

To Governor Romney and to the President: What do you believe is the biggest misperception that the American people have about you as a man and a candidate? Using specific examples, can you take this opportunity to debunk that misperception and set us straight?

These questions show great depth and intelligence. This raises an interesting point, if elections are won in the middle, why all the costly political spin? I  am guessing that few informed (middle of the road) voters are fooled by all the spin.

(See my next post, “Presidential Issues” for commentary on the answers we got to these questions)

The moderation in both the first and the second presidential debates left some room for improvement.  Before I was a small business owner I was a teacher and this is when I trained young debaters and moderated and ran debating contests. In a good debate it is the moderator, who sets the rules, defines the parameters, controls the flow of the conversation and sets the tone of the debate.

Neither debater, not Romney and not the President, seemed to figure out how the interchange was supposed to go in this the second debate. Apparently a question was read and given to one or the other contestant who was given only two minutes to answer. It was logical to expect that the person who did not answer would be given the second two minutes to refute or comment.

According to Crowley the last two minutes of each cycle was supposed to be a free for all. That never works and it didn’t work here either. The result was that Romney missed his biggest moment in the debate.

Here’s how it went:
Since both you and President Bush are Republicans, I fear a return to the policies of those years should you win this election. What is the biggest difference between you and George W. Bush, and how do you differentiate yourself from George W. Bush?

ROMNEY: Thank you. And I appreciate that question.

I just want to make sure that, I think I was supposed to get that last answer time (referring to the second two minutes of the prior question) I want to point out that that I don’t believe…

OBAMA: I don’t think so, Candy.

ROMNEY: … I don’t believe…

OBAMA: I want to make sure our timekeepers are working here.

ROMNEY: The time — the time…

CROWLEY: OK. The timekeepers are all working. And let me tell you that the last part, it’s for the two of you to talk to one another, and it isn’t quite as structured as you think. But go ahead (to Romney) and use these two minutes any way you’d like to, the question is on the floor:

When Romney got to speak he answered the prior question, the one he was waiting to answer. When he did answer the Bush question it was a superb answer but it had already lost its impact.

I always find political MAKE WRONG unattractive. Why do we all agree that one side has to be right and the other wrong? I just happen to think that both can be right for it depends on the situation, the condition and the circumstances, and these things change.  This can also be valid regarding the truth of a statement.

So in a debate it is vital for a contestant to give the time and place and circumstances for each QUESTION OR ANSWER or it all goes awry and we have each contestant stating emphatically “that is false” or :”that is not true”.

Both the President and the Governor acted at times like my naughtier high school students, taking opportunity to make each other wrong, failing to listen, interrupting, and rambling without answering the specific questions. Romney was weakest on taxes, while Obama was weakest on energy.

There was some finger pointing and interrupting, although this debate didn’t quite degenerate to the level of the Vice Presidential debacle where Biden interrupted Ryan 82 times.

There are some questions that should have been asked but weren’t:

  1. Why would you be better at the helm than your opponent during a crisis?
  2. In what way are you limited or restrained or circumscribed by the radical elements in your own party?
  3. In what way are you influenced by big donors as to your policy decisions and your platform?

Nothing was said about the fiscal cliff that looms ahead.maybe as early as 2013. Federal Spending is out of control.

There are three things that are bringing us closer to a possible second recession; the federal spending, the national debt and the European fiscal crisis. That this subject was not addressed at all was an ugly omission.

The graph above shows two major areas of concern. One the spending is out of control but even more important than that is the low GDP.

We need to remove obstacles that cut across our ability to produce as a nation.  This subject is covered in Politics IOU in a light and entertaining  way. Getting serious about what is a serious subjectthe following things adversely impact our ability to produce as a nation.

  1. Environmental regulations that stop industry and/or the development of new energy sources.  Some social constraints are sane and needed but the environmental lobby is now way out of whack. Now they are stopping progress.
  2. The Union rules reward seniority rather than performance and set wages so high as to force American corporations to take their labor overseas. We are in a global market and in terms of jobs the unions may well have priced us out of the game.
  3. In 1913 government abdicated responsibility for the nation’s finances and gave control over to international bankers. The Banks have had centralized control for more than a century and  the finances of the world are now in pretty shabby condition. How to resolve this situation was brushed under the ugly carpet of the usual spin.  We have to face up to this for we cannot do this to our children.

Let me conclude, though, by saying that all things considered, if either Obama or Romney gets elected they are both better than many of the presidents who have come before, with the exception perhaps of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Kennedy and Reagan. We have a good crop this time round, and while it may not be all that apparent, things may well be getting better.

May we be spared another Nixon. Remember that Nixon was elected by a landslide. We the electorate aren’t all that good at choosing our leaders.

May we do a better job this time round and may it all turn out alright.

Grandma Thunder Job Description for a President

I decided to share this with you from my latest book “Politics IOU – the Election that Freaked the Elites“. (Ella Bevan is my writing pen-name) From Grandma Thunder here is the excerpt:

(Gonzali Larkin is a third- party presidential candidate representing “The Producer’s Party” in the book)

“Hello. My name is Jay O Brannick and I blog for Gonzali Larkin.

In the news today: A Senator was upset when criticized for the recent pay raises Congressmen are giving each other. he believed the people can’t be trusted to oversee the politicians. His solution: Deny the public access to all political data.

Gonzali thinks he has it back to front. He thinks because the people elect the President they should be able to demand good leadership. He promises that if he is elected his only privilege will be to serve.

I asked him to give me a job-description for a President and this is what he said:

• It is the job of the President to inspire his people and to lead them forward strongly
• It is the job of a president to force in transparency; when politics and business are engaged in openly, there are no evil dealings.
• It is the job of the President to keep good order.
• It is the job of the president to control change so that the change rate is acceptable.

A Good Presidential Candidate

Then he looked up at me with his lazy smile and said, “You know I once asked my first wife that question when I first thought of running for president eight years ago and you remind me of that morning.”

We know that his first wife died of cancer soon after this conversation, so the smile was a little whimsical. Three years ago he remarried Annalin, our most popular choice, according to survey, for our First Lady.

“And what did your first wife say?” I asked, not quite sure if I should press the question. He was okay on it.

“She reminded me of when the kids were young and how I handled them . . .

Ayn Rand

Has Ayn Rand been good for America?

lady in rain

Grandma Thunder

We now have a Republican Vice President-elect who is into Ayn Rand.
Once we had a Federal Reserve Chairman who was also (heavily) into Ayn Rand. Greenspan worked with Clinton and they took away Glass Steagall, which is all that separated investment banking from consumer banking and our great country from an economic melt-down.  Greenspan was again in power under H.W. Bush, blamed for our mountain of debt, and banks too big to fail.

Is there a connection bewtween Greenspan’s Ayn Rand philosophy and his actions?

Once I went to University,  a beautiful campus in Southern Africa perched on a high hill overlooking th Durban Bay.  Flowering shrubs tumbled down the hill until reaching the water and the  colored sail boats, all with their spectacular balloon sails bending to the wind – a truly beautiful place.

I was studying psychology. The little lecturer had shaky hands and a wobbly voice.  A primary tenet of Psychology is that the world and others are stronger than we, and we needed to adapt and to be conditioned just like the rats we were studying.

Did Ayn Rand change me, yes she did.  I quit psychology at the end of the year and graduated after four years in Education, Communications and Theater.

As I read at the back of that lecture hall, I discovered that Ayn saw ‘Man’ as a noble creature responsible for the world around him and I liked that idea better than what I was being taught.  Her ‘Man’ was creative and able and honorable and deserving. He could change the world and make it work better for him and for others.

Much later as a small business owner and crucified by bureaucratic regulations and taxes, it was because I had read Ayn Rand, that I knew I did not owe the world a living.  I would work (like Atlas who shrugged) to shed my shackles.  If I worked hard and staid legal I could keep the fruits of my labor. I saw (still see) no need to carry passengers.  I do not owe the world my ability. I resent that others want to tax me for their medical bills. man holding up the world

Atlas Shrugged

 Let’s bring this full circle.

What Ayn Rand means by Capitalism is the full, pure uncontrolled and unregulated Laissez Faire capitalism,  When Clinton (as advised possibly by Greenspan) set the economy free it zinged and we all profited from the increased speed of the unregulated distribution of goods and services. They made a few mistakes: They failed to differentiate between correct regulation and shackles.

Since Ayn passed in the early eighties, there has been a whole new digital revolution and we live in a global world wrought with inequalities. We remain a collection of nations with our trade and financial transactions flowing freely across state borders.  The regulations and use of dictatorial force in other nations (like China keeping its currency value low) adversely affects free competition and gives them an advantage. Our Government needs to protect us from such.

One day we will be able to put in a free, market economy across the world but we are a long way from that right now. So gentle regulations to protect America are indicated.until we are able to craft a constitutionally free world government.  My estimation bringing real freedom to the world will take all of the current century. We need a good government in America to hold the line lest all of our wealth trickles out and goes to the rest of the world or world dictatorship is ushered in. Good idea to also shed the burdens foisted on us. Why do we pay out so much in foreign aid when we are hurting? Why all the military bases across the planet?

Free market politicians (men of good will)  need to also look at their responsibility to regulate the banking and pharmaceutical sectors, for neither is productive. First step bring in transparency. I see that as a valid function of government.

So when Greenspan and Clinton and G.W. Bush attempted Laissez Faire Capitalism there were some good effects for us but you have to see and know that it also bombed. We can trace the sub prime catastrophe directly to a failure to know when and how to regulate and when not to. In the same way we can trace the ‘banks too big to fail’ back to permitting a collapse of consumer and investment banking in upon each other, to the very same government malaise and it all could come back to  Ayn Rand thinking.

So I really hope that Paul Ryan gets to read my blog.

If you decide to read her, know that Ayn Rand wrote for the story and you will have a good time.  I loved her characters and I loved her plots  I sat there in the last row of the psychology class oblivious to the lessons going on around me.  I would read from dawn to way pastmidnight. Like Greenspan I was hooked.  Like Greenspan I am grateful she came into my life for I could have ended up teaching psychology and having my students craft paper airplanes and shoot them down on me instead of on to a shaky man with his little wobbly voice who was hooked on rats and wanted me to adjust to my environment.  I chose to stand tall and to help to change the world. it is decision we all should make and reading Ayn rand can help.

So here is a message for Paul Ryan, (if you get to speak to him) and also for Rand Paul; please know that it is now a whole new electronic, digital world and that needs to be factored into the Ayn Rand equation.

The Upcoming Election

Who Should Be In Charge?

With the presidential elections fast approaching,  I could not help noticing that both candidates criticize their opponent. The scary thought is, what if they are both right and neither one is fit to be in charge of this great nation? We should have more choices than just one of two. At a minimum, there should be a third option: Neither one.

Old man

Griping Grandpa on Better Choices

We are supposed to have a representative government, but regardless of whether Obama or Romney wins the presidency in November, is it safe to assume that either one would fully represent my interests? Or yours? I have my doubts. What do you think?

Government can be seen as a power structure intent on continual expansion. With each new regulation or piece of legislation, regardless of who it rewards or punishes, government wins, but we all lose another piece of our precious freedom.

Through taxes and fines, government, whether it be city, county, state, or federal, robs from everybody and then rewards those it favors.

mother and daughter Madame President!

Last week a lady with her four-year-old daughter visited our art gallery. The little girl was fascinated with the little hooks we used to display some of our merchandise. The lady made her purchase and left. A few minutes later she returned, announcing that her daughter had something to say to us. The little girl muttered an apology and returned a little hook she had snatched. The lady’s parting words for the benefit of her daughter were, “We do not take what does not belong to us.”

Now, there’s someone I would pick for President!

There is an election around the corner.  But all around me I still see business going on as usual. There is  noise, a lot of money thrown around, some kindness and some nastiness, but what concerns me most is that I still see that the system is skewered in favor of the rich, the powerful, and the corrupt.

“Cinderella’s Ugly Sister” partied with “Big Ears” in Hawaii at Christmastime in a room that cost $10,000 a night.  At the same time in Fresno there were fields of homeless going cold and hungry.

A record number of Americans (43.6 million) are using food stamps. Not good, not good at all!  It is we who pays for that. Yet the leading bank that administers the program made $5.47 billion in net revenue, a portion of it off that food stamp program.

The super rich of the world are hiding their wealth in offshore tax havens, to the tune of $21 trillion and get your wits around that amount. This is as much as the American and Japanese GDPs combined.

In the year 2010 the top ten banks in the world managed more than $6 trillion, up from $2.3 trillion five years before.  Goldman Sachs was included in this number, previously bailed out by the American taxpayer.

The rich and good looking wannabe President is being blamed for his past ability to survive and prosper in a system of capitalism running amuck.  We should hold him culpable only to the degree that he considers “all is still okay” and that he intends to go forward without correcting the system.

Even during the two-year recession with people losing their homes and jobs, Big Pharma is still the nation’s third most profitable sector. Evidence is coming to light that an $80 billion financial commitment from the drug companies gave ObamaCare its first momentum. (sic)

Federal spending on children has declined for the first time in 30 years.  Projections estimate that federal spending on children will continue to decline. Currently 20% is allocated to defense, 6% is allocated to paying off the debt, and 10% goes to the children. In the year 2020 it is projected to have gone down to 8%

Note: Children born today are each being given a debt that needs to be paid off in their lifetime. Get you wits around this number, each and every child now owes $36 million.

So are you surprised that you are struggling?
