Power lasts only within a framework of balance. It was the American Constitution that gave our country its chance to be great and prosperous and to become a Super Power This is because there was a natural balance between the Executive, Judiciary and the Legislature. The anchor of the system is free and fair elections, making sure that government occurs ONLY with the consent of the people. It was the Constitution that gave America a chance to vote out crime and corruption. It was the American Constitution that gave our nation the time to get its act together and make things work in America.

So what went wrong? Sadly, over time the gap between the rich and the poor grew wider. There has developed a break in reality between the Elites and the people.  The elites are now out of touch. This is what set the stage for the upset election of 2016.

There are those who look at this income inequality and envy & resent the wealth of others.  Their solution is for government to take from the rich and give to them (socialism) but it is not quite that simple.  For the last eight years we have had a government leaning LEFT, pushing a semi- socialist agenda and this did nothing to address the income inequality, in fact the gap between rich and poor widened with the banks growing even bigger. They were taking from he man in the middle, the hardworking forgotten man, and giving to the “useful idiots” the idle poor. Unemployment soared.

The way socialism survives is with a central bank printing all the money. Without this “manna from heaven” the system falls apart.  Do you now see why socialism has become so popular with the global banking elite who run the world of finance? Central banks have their own scam  a different scam, messing with the production cycle in order to create a false demand. Then they pass the costs along to the people in the form of creeping inflation. The people buy this, but only as long as it is done on gentle gradient. Runaway inflation is always accompanied by riots.

Socialism needs this unlimited supply of money to pay for their unlimited entitlements.

Congress has also entitled banks, giving them unfair usury rules. e.g. The whole student loan crisis falls apart if we abolish compound interest. There is actually no good reason for banks to charge compound interest on student loans or mortgages.

There is a lot that has been corrupt in government but can you isolate just one attribute that makes government bad; bad government is coercive. Bad leaders use the force and power of government to take from some to give to others.  Bad leaders seek to force their values on all the people and this without the consent of the governed. Bad leaders bypass “the power of choice” in their people; this power of choice is the essential attribute that fuels innovation.  Socialism is a scam & thrives on creating benefit for the “idle” rich while giving to the “idle” poor. Finally as Margaret Thatcher so aptly observed, you run out of other people’s money, and the system collapses in upon itself. We have many examples in history of a socialistic country falling into crisis and decline.

Without a government of force Socialism doesn’t work. And so we have:

  1. Controlled voting (voter fraud) The election is decided by elites before the voting.
  2. Fake News (Media conglomerates with a single message) If they all spout the same narrative we spot that they are fake. True reality is multi-faceted. Honest reporting will have many different messages.
  3. Freedom of speech squashed; the force of justice is misused to suppress free thought and free speech and bulldoze opposition.
  4. Force & violence are used on any & all who disagree.
  5. In a socialist-leaning regime you are likely to find a nasty trail of murders
  6. Then here are the ALINSKY Rules designed to keep the horrible, deplorable people subservient, while all the time bribing them with free services.

The communist Lenin created a set of rules to help keep the power for the elites. His ideas were codified by Saul Alinsky, a favorite of Hillary and Obama. Here is Alinsky’s advice to the crooked politicians who want to hold onto an elite and unfair privilege.

  1. Class Warfare:Divide the people into the wealthy & the poor, and all other factions. Pit one faction against the other. Easier to keep the people down, if you keep them busy fighting each other.
  2. Religion: Religion brings with it a Moral Code that is awkward for the crooked elite, and puts them in danger. Elites MUST take out God. People have to worship the State.
  3. Education– take control of what people listen to or watch or read. Also take control of the Education agenda; what children are taught will define the future.
  4. Welfare– take control of all aspects of welfare – if the people are beholden to the State they will be too afraid of losing their livelihood to revolt.
  5. Gun Control– you have to remove the ability of the people to defend themselves against an oppressive government.
  6. Increase Debt– in this way you can increase taxation, poverty and fear.
  7. Poverty– Increase poverty – poor people are far easier to control and keep under wraps. They will be too tired to rise up and turn against you.
  8. Healthcare– Control Healthcare and you control all the people

America rejected Hillary & Obama’s Saul Allinsky ideas, leaving us with a fight on our hands to restore the American Constitution & reaffirm American exceptionalism.  This is a gigantic war of ideas playing out in the American Republic. Socialism invaded our colleges, where snowflakes, overburdened by student debt, are ripe recruits for socialism. There is a better way

Central to the problem is a confusion regarding “rights” as defined in the American Declaration of Independence and “rights” as codified in the United Nations Bill of Rights. These “rights” mean different things.  

Jefferson affirmed that in a free society government is not valid UNLESS it is derived from the CONSENT OF THE PEOPLE to so be governed. This was a new and very radical idea, timeless actually, as applicable today as it was then in the seventeen hundreds.

Jefferson talked about natural rights, rights inherent in human nature and there was a reason for this. The King’s England justified their form of government on heredity, class, race, and wealth. To give a higher validity to his revolutionary argument than “the divine right of kings” Jefferson claimed God-given rights or natural rights for America, God being higher than a mighty king. It is this idea (often repudiated by the left leaning Academia) that has caught on in the world, with America shining the light of liberty, as a beacon and an anchor.

It is important to differentiate between the American Constitutional “rights” and the “rights” as listed in the articles of the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a stable datum in the European Union. Could it be that this good document is actually flawed and wants correction; is this why the British decided to leave the EU and set a new direction for mankind? Is this why America rose up to reject global and embrace “America First” to reaffirm our commitment to Liberty?

The writers of the Universal Declaration of Rights saw that all men have equal rights that should be protected under law, but this declaration must have been written by envious men. These men tried to level the playing field by using the power of government to take from some and give to others (without the consent of the governed).

Here is a child as she stands on the threshold of life, filled with wonder:

  1. Is she in any way concerned with Social Security?
  2. Is she concerned with education? Maybe so, but should such Education be of a Federal or Global nature or should it be local? e.g. She does not need to learn the same survival skills as a tribal child in Afghanistan, or how to milk a cow in Africa. And who should pay for this free-propaganda education?
  3.  Is it important to her to be able to have asylum from persecution, to transplant into other countries? And who will pay for this relocation?
  4. Should she have the right to free healthcare? Who is to pay for it?
  5. Are her gender rights a matter for global or Federal coercion?
  6. Does she have the universal right to rest and adequate leisure, and holidays with pay?
  7. Ought the government give her food stamps, free lodging, and as they now want to do in EU, a Cost of Living Allowance?

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was a great effort but in it we find what is going wrong in the EU, and why there was a BREXIT. As the EU global and socialistic ideas penetrate America, we are left with a fight on our hands. In fact history shows us that Socialists will go on fighting us until we tame them. It is a PR war and they have lots of money, and they ahve had more than half a century to perfect their diabolic PR propaganda techniques. Did you know that Public Relations was actually created by Rockefeller? So why do they need to scam us and fight us? This is because they derive their energy from the efforts of others and so must steal.  It is a sad truth that such envious people cannot innovate, cannot build, cannot create their own wealth. They have to take from others by mis-using the force of government.

In 2016 America chose to go back to being a constitutional Republic and rejected the global views of the LEFT and socialistic views of the United Nations. America decided they wanted to function under the Constitution and the American Founding Principles where government is based on the consent of the governed and a constitution that polices corruption.

The declaration of American Independence affirms a spiritual component that is very beautiful:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness; that, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.”

Understanding the “Rights” of Man

Socialism, Useful Idiots, and Saul Allinsky

This is because there was a natural balance between the Executive, Judiciary and a Legislature AND free and fair elections. It was the Constitution that gave America a chance to vote out crime and corruption. It was the Constitution that gave our nation the time to get our act together and make things work in America.

There are those who look at the income inequality and say, what happened was that greedy rich men got more powerful. If we want to make America Great we have to spread the wealth more fairly, take from the rich and give to the poor. We are making strides when we advance towards socialism.

Not quite that simple.

For the last eight years or longer Federal Education has pushed a socialist agenda. What has been omitted in the curriculum has been education about the Constitution.

Is there one attribute that you could say makes government bad?  The answer is that Bad Government is Coercive. Bad government roughs up its people and bad government uses its force and power to take from some to give to others. While Socialism is sold as a system of sharing the wealth that rarely occurs. The State uses its might to benefit the few while pretending to serve the many. Socialism thrives on creating benefit for the “idle” rich while giving to the “idle” poor. The enemy of Socialism is the man in the middle; or as Trump calls them, the forgotten man.

In Socialism it is left to the State to distribute the wealth as they see fit. Historically Socialism has led to anarchy which is followed by a dictator. The difference between Socialism and Marxism is that one is mild mannered and covert, while the other is overt and nasty. They share the same goals.  In the both we see a loss of liberty. In order to keep the scam going, Socialism permits voting but this is controlled. The outcome is determined before the voting starts. It requires “the force of government” to take from some and give to others. Socialism is very attractive to the global oligarchies who think they rule the world.

Not all Trade Deals are Good for America

With ObamaTrade the devil is in the details, hidden from Congress & the American people

Why does America seek Trade agreements?  We all agree we are better off if we trade with our neighbors, so what is the deal here?   While many Trade deals are good and put America First with ObamaTrade the American Citizen loses out. It is a lot worse than that though, with ObamaTrade America gives up her sovereignty.

This is serious guys. No vote should be cast on this lightly.

The TPA was sneaked through the Senate at the end of May 2015, and this was largely a matter of timing. It was put through when all eyes were on Rand Paul and his epic filibuster. Despite feeble efforts to inject it with continuing life, Paul forced the Patriot Act to die an ignoble death. This was something good.

However, there was something else happening in the wings? With a lot of bribe money in his back pocket, Obama was hard and fast working the politicians in Congress to get TPA approved.  And he succeeded. TPA is designed to give the President (and his executive branch) the sole authority to negotiate trade treaties and and in the face of this, Congress becomes almost irrelevant. Not a good scene, the imbalance between the Legislature, the Judiciary and the Executive was already out of whack, and this just made it even worse.

unconstitutionalA lot of money went into getting TPA passed; paid for by the U.S. Business Coalition for TPP. Donors to the Coalition were Goldman Sachs, followed closely by Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and members of the military industrial complex, which included GE, Halliburton and Northrop Grumman. The Coalition bought Senate support for $1,148,971 being given as bribes to senators, an average of $19,673.28 for Republicans and $9,689.23 for Democrats.

TPA was enacted to ensure fast passage TPP, otherwise called ObamaTrade.

Does this tell you anything?

What congressional rights did Congress give up with the passage of TPA?

Congress gave up the power to write legislation, the power to amend legislation, the power to fully examine legislation, the power to predict and investigate the consequences to a specific bill.  In addition Congress gave up the chance to keep debate open until cloture. Most of all Congress gave up the constitutional requirement that Trade-treaties can only be approved  by a full two-thirds vote.

Both Presidential candidates have said they will disapprove ObamaTrade (TPP) However this is a global play, and Clinton if anything, is a global candidate who was for TPP before she was against it.  Still . . .

Obama is back with even more (I suspect) Global bribe money He wants to get TPP approved during the lame duck session. So in order to be sure to get presidential approval he has to get it signed WHILE HE IS STILL PRESIDENT. What better time than around the holidays after all the excitement of the election when nobody is looking. He is still calling the shots, yet nobody is seeing it like that, he has legal power. Expect another titillating controversy to absorb our protest and attention while he sneaks it through.

Why would this would be a disaster?

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is not TPA, that now a done deal. It is a complex and convoluted legislation that has been shrouded in secrecy. Few of the Congressmen who will finally have to ratify it, have even read it.

TPP (ObamaTrade) is a trade agreement among twelve Pacific Rim countries. The finalized proposal was signed on 4 February 2016 in Auckland, New Zealand, concluding seven years of negotiations. However IT IS NOT LAW UNTIL RATIFIED BY CONGRESS in an up down vote which now only has to get a 50% majority.

Donald Trump says, there are good and bad Trade Deals. and this is one abomination. How so? With this new trading block we have something akin to the EU set up, with a bureaucratic stranglehold on true free Trade. True free trade is good, but this is not that.

There is a lot in ObamaTrade that has nothing whatsoever to do with trade:

  1. Strong patent protection rules for Big Pharma. This increases cost of medications globally, putting a burden on the global poor
  2. Changes to the USA copyright law. Under the TPP, copyright terms for individuals would go from life of the author plus 50 years to life of the author plus 70 years.
  3. Worst of all are the International-Investor Tribunals. There are provisions that grant foreign investors the right to sue governments on the basis of vague and broad obligations regarding loss of “expected” profits. Such suits would not be decided by judges appointed for life in the American courts which subordinate to the Constitution. Where special interests appoint both the judge and the jury we can expect arbitrary justice.Let me give an example. It seems Goldman Sachs may have had a part in the crash of the Greek economy (done with currency finagling) So let’s just say the Greek people wake up and elect a new government.  They are good people and want to follow rule of law.

So they investigate the situation and yes they think there are financial crimes. They are quite sure there are financial crimes. They sue

Any chance of them winning? Wake up to the real world, now dominated by TPP. The court finds for Goldman Sachs, after all did they not lose profits?

So we are about to subject our jurisprudence to tribunals appointed by the corporate oligarchies. Might is right and there will be no justice. America has been snookered into losing her sovereignty.

You see Obama Trade operates ABOVE THE CONSTITUTION. With this transfer of authority legislators give up their god given right to do their job as defined by the constitution.

Sadly there is an unhealthy imbalance between the Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary; ObamaTrade makes this far worse.

jobsAnd finally jobs, jobs, jobs  which just happens to be our weakest area. TPP like NAFTA & TAFTA will steal jobs from good Americans.

Yes Donald Trump, there are good deals and bad deals and this one is an abomination.


 Where to from Here?

So what really happened when TPA was railroaded through the Senate when nobody was looking? Did we lose our country? And what of the everyday citizens and taxpayers of America? Do we still have any of the rights left given us in the Constitution?

The people of America do not like the TPP; polls show this clearly. RINOs beware.  Polls show an overwhelming majority oppose TPP and they are out there on Social Media howling their outrage. Politicians who support TPP should wake up and smell the coffee and vote their conscience and for America and not for their back pocket.

Polls or voting won’t defeat TPP; it’s too far along. It is only if we stand together to oppose this assault on our constitution, our heritage and our rights; if we stand up and speak out, and get right in the face of power, will the people be able to overcome TPP’s plutocracy.

Understanding the Trump Phenomenon

The election is won fair & square but the ‘slaughtered” LEFT can’t see it yet 

In the face of an illegal Syrian war, drugs & crime coming into our country, American communism ripping our culture apart, Radical Islam and a federal government grown far too big, we need a strong and a good president.

America’s crisis in 2016 was & is a moral one. America (and the world) is looking to find its moral compass.

America’s Third Crisis
Since its founding, America has faced three crises, the first was when we won our independence from the tyranny of a British King who was denying representative government.

The second, the Civil War was designed to divide North from South and challenged slavery. It was also this war that should have put an end to racism and may have until inverse racism began to be exploited politically.

The founding fathers envisioned a limited Federal Government with explicit and restricted responsibilities. The role of government was to protect the security of the nation and to keep the domestic peace and safety. With a rot in Federal education, most citizens no longer understand the meaning of “Conservative” or “Republic” or “Progressive” or “Liberal” or “Socialist”. There is also a big confusion between “human rights” and “natural rights”. Natural rights are God-given, the right of every citizen to equal opportunity under law and the protection of person and property.

Note well: a citizen’s standard of living is not protected under the American constitution. Each citizen is expected to go out and learn a trade and go to work for self, family and the country.

Our democratic process was designed to resolve BIG ideological differences. It has kept us away from civil war. It would have done so again were we not subverted and divided by evil influences.  Against a backdrop of the traditional conflict between Republican and Progressive ideas we have new challenges to the American Liberty & Prosperity. There is growing circumstantial evidence of infiltration of the SOROS/Obama/Hillary and the Progressive movement by the Muslim Brotherhood – an orchestrated world movement to change our culture and bring the western world to its knees, under Sharia Law.

We see this in:

  • The Iran Deal (Kerry’s son in law is an Iranian doctor)
  • Why “Muslim Brother” Keith Ellingson is the “chosen” new leader of the Democratic Party.
  • Why Obama & Kerry failed to protect our ally Israel from censor by the Security Council at the U.N.

Note: America is now at #4 on this chart while England at #7. 

Historically the Arab nations have demonstrated poverty, inequality oppression and a lack of individual freedom and were no threat to America. THEN CAME OIL. THEN CAME 9/11. Then came a troubling flow of money into our educational institutions. Now on the international stage we have a resurgent Islam, dominated by ISIS and the sophisticated Muslim Brotherhood a movement that has grown since the “Arab Spring”.

The Trump camp (by observation) is clean and sees this danger clearly but (again by observation) it seems Brotherhood tentacles have penetrated the Democrats who refuse the connection between Muslim & Islam.  Obama refuses to use the words “Radical Islam.”

The degree of turmoil in America at this time is a clear indication that there have been efforts to subvert us.

Also a danger to America is INTERNATIONAL MARXISM. Obama was featured on the cover of the official magazine for International Socialism.
In the planned subversive actions of the SOROS Foundations, we see enemy action. MoveON Soros/paid agitators at Trump rallies are not trying to build up America. These are criminal, enemy actions.  We are witnessing efforts to overwhelm us with Middle Eastern refugees (their aggression fostered in the family and encouraged in the mosque). We see it In the conflicts, the violence and chaos that we are witnessing in our social order, and in the structures and cultures of the western nations of Europe.

Is the final goal to subvert, dominate and then exploit America?  Are there those intent on destroying our religions, our institutions, our constitution, and our families? Sadly Socialism, Marxism, & Communism are all highly attractive to the immoral and out of touch oligarchies who run the world.

Let’s put this all into perspective:
Technology opened the door to global trade. This lifted government up and out of the traditional American system of checks and balances. America still has the remnants of a good constitutional system, but it has been sorely compromised.

Technology gave rise to unchecked international banking monopolies, which is what is fueling the rising income inequality. corporate greedGlobal Elites and GOP Party Elites (in the game for power) were forced back into a corner by the Trump movement. Why is this? Trump is surely no angel, but he is rich in his own right. What the Elites hate most about him is that he cannot be bought. In 2016 America was put off by all the rotten “bribe” money pouring into the Clinton coffers. Many of these donors make their money gaming a rigged system.

As Trump begins to govern, he has a great freedom. Until the Swamp is drained the corrupt will fight him all the way.

Somewhere along the line the Press got owned by the corrupt international oligarchies who began to dictate the narrative. Some Americans, getting their political data only from TV, have not yet realized the bias. Trump was forced to bypass the crooked media to get his message out to the American public. Sadly although elected, he is still doing this, for over the last eight years, Americans have not been educated on “Constitutional and/or Electoral Basics”.Add to this are the pernicious political lies from corrupt political candidates and consultants.   Call it liberal or progressive, or Crony Capitalism, Corrupt Banks, or GOP Establishment, the truth is it boils down to “authoritarian coercive might is right” vs “consent of the governed”. Trump stands for the latter, loud & clear.

Many not buying into the “Fake News” narrative.  Google and FaceBook have already evolved too far for coercive or restrictive censorship to win. There is a lot of love for Trump out there.

The eleven million illegals  already living in America are not a problem of Trump’s making, but he has shown willingness to get the problem fixed within the rule of law.

He is not against Latinos, any more than he is against women, against gays, against blacks or AGAINST anybody.  What he is saying is often taken out of context.

Relevant to the immigrant problem is immigrant welfare. Trump has a good fiscal compass. He knows a country as deeply in debt as we, cannot survive. Can we afford to carry this burden.

Trump stands for rule of law, for the constitution and for military strength and for PEACE. Proof of this is the fine spiritual people he has chosen on his team. There is no way the sincerely religious Mike Pence or Dr. Ben Carson would let him walk us into more, corrupt imperial wars.

We need a president who, like our founder George Washington, was aggressive in the degree to fight for what is right, but who has the moral restraint to create a true and lasting legacy.

Trump’s favorite past-president is Jackson.  Like Jackson Trump has the moral compass, the social relationships & strength to stand up to the global rich. Will he succeed? Only time will tell. He does give us a chance and  nobody else has done that in a long, long time. It seems the world is at a tipping point.

Much Ado about Donald Trump (updated after the election)

 

A few of us knew that Trump was going to be the next President; and how did we know this? We read his books and studied his record and realized that when Trump decides something, that is the way it is going to be. This strength of mind and self-confidence (and his knowledge of how finance works) should stand us in good stead in the troubled times that still lie ahead.

It is going to take time for the lies and slander to fade away.  The swamp has not yet been drained. It will take at least four years  maybe eight and maybe even thirty which is what I predict the GOP has ahead. I predict this because of the greater efficiency of their political organization.

So given the Democrats in disarray, what is this wild noise we are still hearing?
There are a lot of people were supporting corrupt HIllary, freaking, because they stand to lose an unfair privilege.

Just to name a few:

  • Sanctuary Cities
  • Illegal immigrants and Refugees living off the public dole when some of our children are starving and our veterans are struggling.
  • Those planning and rigging the vote counting machines to falsify election results. (So sick) I have suspicions about Harry Reid.
  • Those gaming the legislative process (Harry Reid, Mich McConnell, Bill Clinton)
  • Teachers protected by seniority and not judged on their performance.
  • Government workers insisting on high wages and demanding high benefits but failing the public they serve.
  • Those in high office like Clinton betraying her public trust, taking bribes (bribes laundered through the Clinton Foundation)
  • Those in high office like Clinton choosing to set up her records on a public server (SO THAT HER EMAILS COULD NEVER BE SOUGHT BY JUDICIAL WATCH ON A FREEDOM OF iNFORMATION REQUEST) Thanks to Wikileaks we found out what she and those in high office in the Democrats wanted to hide.
  • Lots of little bureacrats who were also raking it in on the side. We have far too many bureaucrats.
  • Main Stream Media owned by Global Interests engaging in bias and slander and failing to tell the truth.
  • Big pharma making a killing from Government patents and regulations that protect their unfair monopoly – why can’t we buy our drugs in Canada or Mexico? Why can’t HMOs compete across state lines. Where is all this cushy protection.
  • Farmers getting subsidies long out of date
  • Investors like George Soros using arcane investing rules to allow them to profit from an economic decline (Then they use thier wealth and power to create such decline)
  • People on welfare now have to learn a trade and begin to support self and family and the nation.
  • Abortion clinics relying on public funding.
  • Monsanto (GMO) permitted by Clinton to hide what they are doing to poison our food.
  • Bribed politicians and on and on.

No wonder there are a lot of unhappy people.

Those who love Donald Trump see that . . .

  • He has observed that America is in trouble, and he has decided that he is the one to make America Great Again.
  • He has the unique ability to attract honorable and able men to his side. None can challenge the production records of Pence or Ben Carson or their spiritual integrity. That they love him speaks a lot for Donald Trump.
  • Trump’s political views are still evolving and he is not fixed. He evaluates the situation in front of him, he observes, and then he decides before he acts. He is able TO SEE.
  • He is transparent, and tells it like it is. This is likable.
  • He understands TV; and as an entertainer he is supreme
  • He understands finance; and this is something we badly need, it has become beyond vital to fix the failing economy before the next economic bubble pops (derivatives) 
  • In the event of an economic or any major catastrophe, Trump is a strong man. In such a bad event we will need strength in a leader.
  • He promises jobs, knowing that putting us ALL back to work will raise our morale
  • He is sensible: “identify your goals, know precisely what you want to achieve, then find and surround yourself with the best people”  Good advice. Already we have seen this work for him.
  • He is sound on Education (He supports school choice, and opposes Common Core)
  • He is sound on Taxes. He asks simplification of the cumbersome and complex income tax code. His plan to tax the rich is coming under attack, yet what he proposes is an amazingly fair and gradient approach to handle income inequality
  • That he only hits back when attacked, yet hits back hard and effectively.
  • Most of all we are coming to realize that those who oppose him are corrupt. There is a whole thick, entrenched system in Washington which is rigged.  We begin to understand the opposition to Trump better when we realize just how much money the elites (both global, democratic and republican) are standing to lose.Trump will expose their corruption.

Not all who oppose Trump are corrupt, some are wary because . . .

  • His style is somewhat new and he is not in any way politically correct. As a friend put it, “Trump is saying all the right things, I just wish somebody else was saying it.”
  • Would he have the strength and the smarts to take America through a bankruptcy without letting the fabric of our society fall apart, for that is what it may take?
  • Will he introduce change on an acceptable gradient, giving us time to catch up. We see that he is way ahead even than the smartest of our thinkers. Will he be gentle on us?
  • The true test of his greatness will be to bring his prior enemies onto the train, invite them to WAKE UP.
  • Will Trump grant others the ability to  see things their own way, to disagree with him AS LONG AS THEY ARE FAIR?  The true test of greatness will be to LEARN to love his enemies provided they are declawed.

Some of these are valid concerns, electing  an outsider to the post of President is a big change from politics as usual. He has my support because he supports the Republican form of government; in a Republic, government rules only with consent of the governed. In a global or progressive administration “Might is Right” and this opens the door to oppression.

And that folks is what was at stake in 2016. We could have lost America. We could have been forced by the Clintons into the North American Union to become just another corrupt, Banana Republic bowing down the might of the corrupt global elite.

So where do we go from here? We come together as Americans, grateful that once again America has stood up to the challenge.

I  am now studying that incomparable Hillsdale College Course on the Constitution and finding that Trump’s instinctive solutions are mostly aligned with the core beliefs of the founding fathers. They, too, valued common sense.

Don’t feel bad if you got it wrong: the political lies were so many as to be overwhelming. The key difference between the candidates: I do believe that Trump can change. He will grow into his new position. I don’t see that Hillary has changed in thirty years. She has always put power over people.

In times of great change we need a President who is in no way a puppet as has been Hillary & Obama. America needs an outsider who can think on his feet. I do believe such a man is Donald Trump.

So I have a message for those who still oppose Trump:

Do your homework.

  • Get educated on the “out of touch” globalists many of whom do not have your better interests at heart
  • If you do not understand a Constitutional Republic take some time to study the incomparable FREE online course from Hillsdale College.
  • Read one or two of Trump’s books, (you may start start with the Midas Touch)
  • Learn about the Political Lies being told by the Corporate Oligarchies.
  • Learn how Main Stream Media is now a Monopoly and the dubious techniques they use to mislead you Recognize that it is the lies and half truths that has you all upset.  Learn to spot the false labels and the generalities.

It is a big world out there, a big responsibility. We turth-seekers honestly believe that it begins by first fixing up our own house and then we can help other soveriegn nations. “America First” is common sense.

We will see if Power corrupts Trump or not, and we will be vigilant and become active again to curb his power if that is needed.

But for now it is the dawn of a new day.

What Our Constitution Is Based On

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.—That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,—That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” – Excerpt from the Declaration of Independence.

What the Founders are saying here is that we are all born free and that nobody is by birth the ruler over another. The Declaration of Independence says that we have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If we have these rights and we are born equal, that means that everyone else has these rights as well. Thus, with these rights comes the duty of observing these same rights in everyone else.

It’s a funny thing about rights. How do you get them? You either say you have a right – you assert it – or you are granted the right by a higher authority. But what if someone disagrees and denies that you have that right? Rights need to be protected, otherwise they will be lost. That is why we have a government. Thus, the job of government is to protect the rights of its people. And it is the job of the people to ensure that the government does its job.

Let’s assume that when the founders talked about all men having these rights, they also meant all women. But what about the slaves? They were men and women too, but they did not have their liberty. Slavery was a curse. Unfortunately, slavery existed in America long before the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. In the Southern States is was part of the fabric of society and could not be abolished overnight. In fact, it took a Civil War to accomplish that.

What is special about the Constitution is that it asserts that people have certain natural rights, granted to them, not by their government or their king, but by their Creator. A government exists only because the people decided it was a good idea to have one. The government isWeThePeopleSm there to serve the people, not the other way round. The Founders wanted to prevent the government from becoming too powerful by creating “checks and balances” and splitting it into three completely separate parts, the Legislative (Congress), the Judicial (the Courts) and the Executive (the President).

The Constitution was based on the principles mentioned in the Declaration of Independence and, with its amendments, was written to define the rights of the people and to protect them from too much government. However, no system is perfect and we must be vigilant that the federal government does not overstep its bounds. It is good to keep in mind the Tenth Amendment, The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Our duties then consist not only of defending our own rights and observing the rights of others, but also to elect the right people to represent us and to make sure they carry out their responsibilities while in office. Remember, the government is there to adhere to the Constitution and to protect everyone’s rights.

Will ObamaTrade benefit the American Taxpayer?

Is the  Devil in the Details, and are these Details have been Hidden and Obfuscated?

The TPA sneaked through the Senate at the end of May and this was largely a matter of timing. It was put through when all eyes were on Rand Paul and his epic second filibuster. Despite feeble efforts to inject it with continuing life, Paul forced the Patriot Act to die an ignoble death.

The problem was that while  all this was happening Obama’s Fast Track Trade bill was quietly slipped through the Senate. A lot of bribe money then and I suspect even more bribe money now.

Sadly (it would seem) few Senators even bothered to read the TPA  bill or even went down to the uber-secret room to get updated on the terms of TPP.

Open Secrets Blog reported several politicians whose net worth went up.  You can google this there.

Now Obama is back probably with even more BRIBE MONEY especially from BIG PHARMA.

THIS TRADE DEAL WILL BE DISASTROUS FOR AMERICA depriving of our sovereignty.

Trans Promotion Authority (TPA)
 TPA and TPP are actually different bills.

TPA (Trade Promotion Authority) or Fast Track gives a president increased power to negotiate Trade Deals with other countries without “interference” from Congress.  Congress may approve or disapprove a President’s Trade Agreement but Congressmen cannot amend or filibuster the deal once agreement is reached.

Historically this authority is not an executive right. For a limited time Congress grants a President this temporary privilege during the named life of a treaty, but only for the duration of a specific trade-deal.

Nixon first kicked off this authority and it stayed in effect from 1975 – 1994.   It was resurrected by the Trade Act of 2002 but expired on July 1, 2007. In 2012 the Obama Administration began seeking a renewal for the authority (and as we speak the heat is on).

What congressional rights will Congress be forced to give up with TPA, ?

Congress gives up the power to write legislation, the power to amend legislation, the power to fully examine legislation, the power to predict and investigate the consequences to a specific bill.  In addition Congress gives up the chance to keep debate open until cloture. Most of all Congress gives up the constitutional requirement that Trade -treaties can only be approved  by a full two-thirds vote.

Pros
Republicans like Free Trade; they like the idea of giving a President the freedom to negotiate a Trade Deal with other countries, provided they can get an up and down vote on the agreement and with TPA  they can.

  • Countries are unlikely to commit to a deal that could later be changed in part or in full by Congress. Foreign countries want to know what they are getting into and that the deal is stable.
  •  This point is a negative/positive: Obama has shown in the past that when stopped by Congress he is quite willing to go it alone. His unilateral International agreements are likely to be thrown out by the courts (over time)for such is the American system. However in the meantime having a rogue President is an international embarrassment for America and would become a distraction and a liability as we ramp up for the next election. So why not let a little steam tickle out of those big ears, keep the lame-duck President happy and occupied. Then it would be less likely for things to blow up again. 

Cons forTPA
 Obama is no longer trusted by Republicans, by Americans or for that matter  even by his own party on this issue. So why give him more executive authority to again gum the works?

  • It would seem that Fast Track and TPP will operate ABOVE THE CONSTITUTION. With this transfer of authority Legislators give up their God Given right to do their job as defined by the constitution.
  • Already there is an unhealthy imbalance between the Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary; TPA and TPP make this worse.
  •  While TPA is something different from TPP many republicans (like Paul Ryan) recognize that once a trade deal has been put on Fast Track, it is all but impossible to stop it. Since Fast Track was created by Richard Nixon few Trade Deals have been thwarted once they get fast-tracked.

With this in mind we have to look a little more intently at TPA and TPP. Do we really want ObamaTrade? Does the American Taxpayer really want Fast Track ?

Trans Pacific Partnership

Why do we seek to make Trade agreements?  The advantage lies in removing obstacles to the flow of goods and services between countries originating from local tariffs – remove the tariffs and producer and consumer both benefit whatever the country.

Liberalizing services in a Trade deal make them more accessible and efficient and provides an opportunity to open up industries long sheltered from foreign competitors. This is a good thing.

However according to leaks there is a lot in this partnership that has nothing whatever to do with trade:

  • Strong patent protection rules for Big Pharma.
  • Changes to the USA copyright law. Under the TPP, copyright terms for individuals would go from life of the author plus 50 years to life of the author plus 70 years.
  • The creation of International-Investor Tribunals. There are provisions that grant foreign investors the right to sue governments on the basis of vague and broad obligations regarding loss of “expected” profits.
    Such suits would not be conducted by judges appointed for life in the American courts which subordinate to the Constitution.Where special interests appoint both the judge and the jury there will be arbitrary justice as in the darker ages on a darker continent.

Pros of TPP
The TPP covers a wide range of goods and services and finding common ground could be facilitated by a central agency similar to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs..This would facilitate Trade.

  • Industries like Big Pharma will get a boost because the treaty protects patents.
  •  Americans educated to provide technical services at home or abroad are likely to see their income go up as the demand for their services increases.

The movie, book and music Industries will benefit with copyrights given more teeth (protected by the TPP) Therefore, the higher-paid owners of intellectual property would receive more of the income gains from this Trade Treaty.

Cons to TPP

  • Trade Treaties promote cheaper goods from lower wage countries creating competition and putting local shops out of business. 
  • Fair Use and Free Speech could be adversely impacted. Social Media Sharing could berestricted, citing copyright restrictions. Yet this innocent social sharing has become an intrinsic part of the new Internet Culture and is a form of free speech and it is a good thing.
  •  The protected patents are going to reduce the availability of cheap generics, making drugs more expensive. This is bad especially for the poorer world countries, denying them generics that could save lives.
  • Corporations get excused from safety and/or quality and/or environmental responsibilities – not a good thing.
  • Product transparency will be disallowed. Efforts to get Big Agri to label meat products was thrown out in May justified by the most recent Trade deal. Instead of reinforcing transparency it would seem that TPP leans towards secrecy and complexity.
  • The extreme secrecy in which TPP has been incubated is a negative. Many of the things that went wrong with ObamaCare could also go awry with ObamaTrade simply because the devil is in the details and the details are being hidden or obfuscated. And because of TPA Congress will not be able to do anything about problems that surface AFTER THE DEAL IS STRUCK. With Fast Track, Congress is left with no other option than to throw out the whole Treaty BUT killing the treaty may not be the best solution; throwing out the baby with the bath water?
  • Of most concern though, is that TPP is designed to supersede American financial regulations. This will make ti all but impossible to get in ethics and correction on the International Banking Monopolies. TPP would empower the world’s largest banks, including 19 of the 30 biggest non-U.S. banks, to “sue” the U.S. government before extrajudicial tribunals. Note:it is said that the USA Federal Reserve has in the past bailed out some of these international banks We do not know this for sure, for this, too, is shrouded in an unacceptable secrecy. In all its existence the Federal Reserve has never been subjected to an audit.According to leakes the TPP empowers foreign banks to challenge new U.S. financial protections on the flimsiest of pretexts –  it becomes “illegal” to  frustrate the banks’ “expectation of profit.”  Hello? There is nothing specific or finite here, nothing to be proven, the profit clause is vague and a generality.TPP is also slated to include deregulation provisions written before the financial crisis – provisions that would conflict with bans on risky derivatives or policies that prevent banks from becoming “too big to fail.”  Sen. Warren and other financial experts are warning Congress and Obama that TPP “could make it harder for Congress and regulatory agencies to prevent future financial crises

So we have to ask the key question – is TPP intended to replace our Constitution?

Way back then, it was the States that created the Union, and they gave no authority to the central government via the U. S. Constitution that would provide powers they were not willing to give the central authority. They did not permit functions or activities given the Union to be given over to any agency outside the Union.

The Constitution states that the President shall have the power only with the Advice and Consent of the Senate to make treaties provided two thirds of the Senators present concur.  (Article II, section 2 paragraph 2)

Where to from Here?

So what really happened when TPA was railroaded through the Senate when nobody was looking? And what of the everyday citizens and taxpayers of America? Do we still have the rights given us in the Constitution?

The people of America are suspicious and they do not like the TPP; polls show this clearly. Politicians beware.  Polls show an overwhelming majority oppose TPP and they are out there on Social Media howling their outrage. Politicians who support TPP should wake up and smell the coffee.

2016 is just around the corner.

Polls however won’t defeat TPP.  It is only if we stand together to oppose this assault on our constitution, our heritage and our rights. If we stand up and speak out, and get in the face of power will the people be able to overcome TPP’s plutocracy?.
